So today, I went to have a haircut. While I was about to get a haircut, I asked my barber - “hey what style do you think is great for a guy these days?”

Well he answered - a rockstar (emo) haircut. Unfortunately, this doesn’t suit me as my hair is not that long but I thought why not feature it in Pinoy Guy Guide? Anyway the photos below is what my barber was describing in its simplest terms. It really reminds me of band members from My Chemical Romance and Greenday.

Unlike other types of rock-star haircut, this is not spiky. Here you have very long bangs extending to the other side of your head. I remember Tobey Maguire in Spiderman 3 sporting a somewhat similar type of haircut during his alter-ego black spidey mode:

Cool-looking and an ultimate rockstar-look, this style is suited for someone with long hair. As for me, I don’t think this fits quite well because my hair is short, so I got myself an out-of-bed look haircut instead.
