Clear Men: Anti-dandruff for everyone?

By: Chris 31 October 2007 653 views 8 CommentsEmail This Post Email This Post

Unilever has done lots of advertising to promote Clear Men, their newest anti-dandruff shampoo specifically for men. I am surprised to see loads of their advertisements. There are even some in male restrooms of malls so it is inevitable for you to not notice them at all.

Anyway, does this anti-dandruff shampoo really work?

I have an officemate who admits that he has dandruff. In fact, it is so obvious because we always see dandruff on his shoulders. So one time I asked him if he ever tried using this shampoo. Well he did, but it didn’t work for him. Probably he needs to use more since he’s only been using it for only a couple of weeks.

Meanwhile, I’ve read in some message boards that it really works and is very effective for dandruff removal. But as for me, I cannot comment about it since I have no dandruff so I wouldn’t know.

How about you guys? I’d like to hear your feedback regarding Clear Men Anti-dandruff shampoo.

I’ve always been hesitant trying on dandruff shampoos since I really dont have dandruff to begin with. But when I went home to my parents last weekend, I was left with no choice since that was the shampoo they were using (and no, they dont have dandruff). The overall quality of the shampoo I’d have to say is not up to par. It feels so cheap compared to non anti-dandruff shampoos such as Garnier fructis, Pantene, and Loreal for men.

But I cannot comment on the effectiveness of the product because, like i said, im not a candidate. But so far, I really dont like it.

With their numerous advertising, they certainly have to focus more on the product before they spend more on endorsers and ads, because after all, it is what they are trying to market.
