Carrying backpacks at the office: A NO-NO!

I work in an office environment similar to those in the Makati Central Business District where the men’s dress code for most offices is formal. While I was on my way to work last week, I can’t help but notice some guys wearing long-sleeves and carrying a backpack. No offense meant to those who do that, but I must say that this is an absolute no-no to men’s style.

While I understand that some guys would need a backpack to carry their gym clothes or say their laptop, it would mess up their suits entirely unless they wear jeans to the office instead. So if your office’s dress code is formal, I’d suggest getting a decent messenger bag. This would solve the problem in case you need to carry loads of stuff to work.
