I thought this is the best time to do it in celebration of PGG’s 5th anniversary this year.

While I firmly believe that style is relative to the person, we just had to select the winners who represent what Pinoy Guy Guide is all about. In order to do this, I asked some friends to help me and Jockey (our sponsor) to select the winners. To give you an idea, the criteria we used to determine the winners are the following:

Guidelines for sending your photos:
1. Entries SHOULD be your OWN photos and must be decent. Photos of other people are not allowed. By sending your photos to , you agree that PINOYGUYGUIDE.COM has the right to use your photos.

2. All photos that you will send SHOULD have NOT been used by other commercial publishing media (e.g. magazines, online websites, books, etc).

3. Photos taken by any form of camera are allowed (even if just from a camera phone) as long as it is clear and big enough.

4. If you’re a little shy, it’s alright to hide or blur your face but your apparel should be clearly visible (whether it’s a half body or whole body shot).

5. You have the option whether you want to disclose your full name or not but your nickname is necessary for the purposes of displaying it in the blog.

6. Previous participants of Show Your Style Season 1 can participate again but they should send new entries.

7. You can send up to a maximum of 10 photos.

I guess I have done my part… now it’s your turn to Show Your Style!

Giordano is launching a Typographic Tee Design Contest. The contest is calling all enthusiasts ages 15 and up to create a statement shirt design or a typographic tee design which revolves around Giordano’s ever popular theme and slogan – “World Without Strangers”.

The design should be created using Adobe Photoshop or Macromedia Freehand format. The top seven finalists will receive Php 25,000 in cash and Php 5,000 worth of gift certificates. Giordano will also give away consolation prizes for the eight semi-finalists. Each semi-finalist will receive Php 10,000 cash plus Php 5,000 worth of gift certificates.

The contest will run from March 21 to June 30, 2011. I think that the best part of it is that the winning designs will be featured in Giordano’s upcoming collection and will be available in Giordano stores. So if you have the artistic side of you – I suggest you join this contest. Last February 24, Pinoy Guy Guide turned 4 years old! Wow, that was really fast! In a span of 4 years, we have seen tremendous changes in men’s clothing and men’s lifestyle and I’m really sure there’s more to come. With that said, I’m hoping for more PGG viewers, more PGG forum members, more PGG feed readers and yes, more PGG likes on Facebook! By the way, I am very thrilled about the way the PGG Forums is turning out. Lots of guys are now joining there and talking about boys stuff and the likes. University of Santo Tomas is now 4 centuries old!

My bad, I wasn’t able to attend UST’s historic celebration of its quadricentennial anniversary (1611-2011) last January since my office is quite far from school and it was a weekday. Nevertheless, I am taking my time now to show some love and to greet my alma mater a Happy 400^th Birthday!

You know, college in UST was one of the happiest days in my student life. I will never forget how much I enjoyed this school.

I Am Number 4 is the BOMB!

Last Saturday, my girlfriend and I watched the movie “I Am Number Four” in the cinema and damn, it was really really good! It’s a must-see movie and it is currently my most favorite movie (I have now seen it twice and I’m hoping for a sequel). Good actors, great storyline, superb special effects and the best thing about it is that the 2 girls in the movie are deym hot – Dianna Agron and Teresa Palmer.

I really like Giordano shirt because of the simplicity yet decent and trendy style of the shirt. I also like the number 10 design in the arm sleeve because if you may ask I’m a basketball player and my jersey number in all my jersey is 10. I’m looking for an original polo shirt/shirt that has a number 10 as design. I don’t like to buy those shirts from Divisoria because I preferred to have the original. Having an original Giordano polo shirt is one of my wishes for this coming Christmas I hope you will grant it and be my Santa for the Christmas this year.

One of the things that I look for when I buy shirts is the comfort that it brings to me when I wear it. Based on my prior experiences with Giordano shirts, truly, comfort is a benchmark of every Giordano product. In addition to that, the Giordano Lion Polo shirt is a unique style that draws attention, strike up a conversation and subsequently gives one a positive feeling about yourself. Truly, Giordano is a fashion statement in itself.

Let me experience the hype of Giordano! I never had one. Especially polo shirt. My father does, but my mom won’t allow me to wear it because she was the one who bought it. Due to curiosity, I wore it once secretly. And to tell the truth, it was like OOHLALA. “Is this me?” Girls can’t take their eyes off me. And it was like a dream.
