Merrell Adventure Run
Speaking of runs and fun runs, the folks from Merrell (the shoe brand featured here) are currently inviting people to join their adventure run this summer to be held at Wawa Dam, Montalban on April 17, 2010. If you are tired with cityscapes and feel bored joining fun runs at The Fort, then this one is a new and refreshing one. Check out the invitation below on how to join. (Click image to zoom)

PLDT Watchpad Crew Search

The guys from PLDT just know where the stylish guys are. They’re nowhere else but here on Pinoy Guy Guide. So they are inviting stylish guys here ages 16-20 to join the online search for PLDT MyDSL Watchpad Crew.

PGG turned 3 years old last February 24 so I thought of changing the look of the entire blog. There are several improvements of this theme over the old one and you should be able to see it as you explore the new layout. It’s easy to get used to.

I hope that you like the new look as much as I did. It’s not yet 100% complete and I’m still fixing things up and tweaking some parts of the layout so if you notice anything unusual, broken or if you have any suggestions, please let me know.

So what’s the idea behind Show Your Style?
The idea behind Show Your Style is to allow readers of Pinoy Guy Guide and members of the PGG Forums to show their own choice of clothing and apparel. It’s about showcasing your style and your attitude.

What do you need to do?
The idea is pretty simple. Take photos of yourself wearing what you feel like and send it to my email at

After sending your photos now what?
Upon sending of your photos, we will post them here at the blog. Please note that not all entries are guaranteed to be posted and featured here at the blog. I’m still working out the details on how we will select which photos will be posted so if you have any ideas, please let me know! =)

Guidelines for sending your photos:
1. Entries SHOULD be your OWN photo and must be decent. Photos of other people are not allowed. By sending your photos to , you agree that PINOYGUYGUIDE.COM has the right to use your photos.

2. All photos that you will send SHOULD have NOT been used by other commercial publishing media (e.g. magazines, online websites, books, etc).

3. Photos taken by any form of camera are allowed (even if just from a camera phone) as long as it is clear and big enough.

4. If you’re a little shy, it’s alright to not show your face but your apparel should be clearly visible.

5. You have the option whether you want to disclose your full name or not but your nickname is necessary for the purposes of displaying it in the blog.

6. Please provide a brief description of your photo/style which will be used when posting it to the blog. An example of a blog entry will look like the one below:

But first things first. How were the winners selected?

As specified in the contest rules, members who are most active in contributing very useful and relevant posts/topics will be chosen as winners. This means that it is not just based on the quantity of posts but also on the quality and relevance of the posts as well. So without further ado, here are the winners:

There should only be one winner for this but I figured out that there should be two since they both deserve it.

-Prince Pao has been giving advices to PGG forum members in his posts. Not only that, I’ve noticed that he is very active in the blog itself. He has given a lot of tips on skin for fellow males. Congratulations too.

-As for jon, I have seen that he is online at the forums 24ever! Almost everytime I log-in to the forums I see him there. Moreover, he is the very first member to alert me whenever there is forum spam and I really thank him for that.

Similar to the 2nd prize, there should be only one winner but again, two deserve it.

-If there is a night shifter in the forums, it will most likely be marfz. This is because he is active at the forums when most of us are already asleep. He posts not on a daily basis but on a nightly basis (say around 12 midnight and onwards). Congrats marfz.
