Basically there is this new study that concludes that men lose their minds speaking to pretty women. As a matter of fact, in the write-up it was said that one guy was so struck on impressing an attractive woman he had never met before, that he could not remember his address when she asked him where he lived.

In a way, I think this is true to most of us guys. When a gorgeous girl comes our way, we either find ourselves speechless, saying the wrong things or acting awkwardly around the girl. Later on we talk to ourselves after the encounter saying “Why didn’t I get her number?”, “Damn, I said the wrong thing…” or “Why didn’t I invite her for coffee?”.

I guess this has been a problem for most of us guys since time immemorial. It’s part of the male instinct, but I think we should be able to learn to shrug it off and regain our composure and confidence to be able to say and do the right things in front of a hot woman. I know it is difficult to master, but always keep in mind that women want confidence – No more, no less.

I actually like our representative to the Miss Universe Pageant – Pamela Bianca Manalo. She’s 22 and is pretty and has a lot of appeal.

Yeah I know that winning that pageant is difficult since it is indeed a combination of talent, looks and luck but I wish that she would win. I don’t know, she’s one of the most good-looking contestants that the Philippines had for Miss Universe. I like her and I think she deserves some spotlight here on PGG. How about you? Anyway, since Transformers the movie is back again this June, it would be nice to see her back. What intrigues me is the fact that she once said that she is way hotter than Angelina Jolie – what do you say about that?

It’s the first time that PGG conducted a poll to come up with the Hottie of the Moment. It’s no surprise that in the first poll at the Pinoy Guy Guide – Forums, hottie Anne Curtis has been voted as PGG’s Hottie for November-December 2008.

Anne Curtis, a Filipino-Australian model/actress in the Philippines is every inch a gorgeous woman. Currently, the 23-year old hottie can be seen in the TV Series “Dyosa” of ABS-CBN.

Last May, I featured here in Pinoy Guy Guide about Hooters being now present in the Philippines. Again, for those who are unaware yet, Hooters is a US-based restaurant serving burgers, steaks, chicken wings and many more. Their target market are male customers because they feature girls in sexy outfits serving you food. So going back, I went their with my officemates for team building and here is what I think about the famous restaurant in terms of food and the place itself.

First of all, Hooters is located at the back of SM Mall of Asia where there are lots of good dining places and bars to enjoy especially on a Friday night. So being at the back of Mall of Asia means that Hooters is near Manila Bay itself and the atmosphere is very relaxing.

FOOD

The food is good. If you have ever been to T.G.I. Fridays or other similar restaurants, they taste almost alike. However, it’s a bit pricey. A plate of chicken wings could cost you around 500-700 bucks. Same is true with their other menu. They tend to reach a price within that range so it is recommendable to bring the rest of your peers with you to share. Nevertheless, the taste of their food is savory so it’s worth the cost.

GIRLS

Maybe the reason I didn’t pay much attention to the food was because of the girls! Haha! Contrary to the comments in blogs last May, I personally found many of the Hooters girls pretty – and sexy too! One of my friends who has already been in Hooters USA even mentioned that he prefers the Hooters Philippines’ local girls because they are slimmer than their US counterparts and yes, they even dance!

What was unforgettable and terribly hilarious experience we had there was when we told the Hooters girls that one of our friends is celebrating his birthday (which is not true by the way). Right there and then, the Hooters girls pulled our shy friend at the center of the Hooters restaurant and invited him to dance. Mind you, they didn’t just dance on the floor, they danced on top of chairs! So our guy friend was forced to do that even if it wasn’t really his birthday and you can just imagine the laugh trip we had! They danced to the rhythm of YMCA and Chuchu train with everyone else in the restaurant watching.

Overall it was a great experience being there. The Hooters girls are amazingly friendly to the customers and they love taking photos with everyone. Try to go there sometime if you haven’t. If you’ve already been there, share your experience here

It’s too bad that I wasn’t able to watch Miss Universe in full last week because I was a little busy. But if I had the chance to go to Venezuela to meet her – oh I wouldn’t have second thoughts. This girl is truly a hottie!

Meet PGG’s Hottie for May 2008 – Canadian actress Elisha Cuthbert.

I first saw her in the movie “The Girl Next Door” back in 2004 and all I can say is that she’s really beautiful and sexy… I’d give her an 8.5/10.

If you want to catch on Elisha, she will be seen again in this year’s American remake of the movie “My Sassy Girl”. Let’s see how this one goes. As for now, how would you rate her from 1-10? 10 being the highest.

She has the looks and everything except that she failed the final Q&A portion. Well according to her it’s her first pageant and I think she can still work on it until the actual Miss World 2008. While it was really disappointing to watch her, she still has a few more months to improve. Who knows she might even win the crown in the end?

Nevertheless, she’s still a hottie!
