HOM underwear: Lingerie for Men?

At first I thought that HOM was an ordinary boutique at The Block. What I didn’t know was that they were selling underwear exclusively for men.

As you know, lingerie is a term coined to refer to sexy underwear for women. But I didn’t know that the guys from HOM are in fact, selling sexy men’s underwear. So perhaps we can call their products lingerie for men? I know it’s hilarious and you’re probably laughing but I guess it’s true. There is now such a thing but we guys don’t use the term “men’s lingerie”. It just sounds too gross!

And if you happen to be a guy who wants to “show off”, allure and eventually seduce your girlfriend or wife, you probably now have an idea where to go. Check out HOM’s store and you’ll find plenty of choices to make the ladies drool over you. Haha! Their products are not cheap though. I’ve seen a tank top (a.k.a “sando”) costing as much as 1,400 bucks!

Boxers or Briefs: Poll Results

While I am aware that this argument has always been there since time in memorial, I still made a poll around three weeks ago to gain some statistics on what you guys prefer.

Surprisingly here are the results:

BRIEFS: 65% of Pinoy Guy Guide Readers
The majority of PGG readers prefer briefs. I don’t know the reason behind but I assume that we have become accustomed growing up to briefs so we tend to prefer them over boxers.

Personally, I also voted for briefs. I prefer briefs over boxers mainly because it fits me well and I find it more comfortable due to the support it gives.

BOXERS: 35% of Pinoy Guy Guide Readers
I didn’t expect that only 35% liked boxers knowing the fact that it is a fashion statement for men. Well this is probably because like me, most guys find that it doesn’t provide enough support especially when doing physical activities like sports.

What’s good about wearing boxers is that it doesn’t really matter if someone sees you wearing them because in reality it just looks like shorts.

Well, in any case you guys may want to get the best of both worlds, then try boxer-briefs!

New Hanford ICE Reverse Underwear

I know it’s quite unusual to start posting innerwears, specifically underwears in the blog but I thought that this would be beneficial to everyone since this is Pinoy Guy Guide after all.

I have here my newly bought Hanford ICE Reverse underwear. What I like about it is that Hanford did a great job in using a very soft piece of clothing for the underwear yet making it look like your blue jeans (isn’t that cool?). Moreover, the striking yellow-green color on the sides really captivates the eye. I know that underwears are often hidden, but this one in particular is very good in cases where you just want to show it off. Well, that is if you were a model! Hmm, what else were you thinking?

What’s more interesting is the fact that this underwear could be reversed revealing a lighter shade of blue.

Just a bit of info, Hanford ICE (Inner Comfort Enhanced) is a product line of innerwears that is targeted for the youth. For years, it has been well observed that Hanford never really concentrated on the youth market until the introduction of Hanford ICE.
