Mint pants with suspender-like straps

I was just reviewing some of my phone photos when I was reminded of my pair of Mint pants with very catchy suspender-like straps. Then I thought that I should share this with you guys.

This is one of my favorite pairs from Mint and you can tell by the design, the blending of colors plus the suspender-like straps that you won’t be ending your day without receiving compliments. The straps are not really suspenders. They are there for you to drop it on the sides of your waist and to show it off.

Just a word of precaution though. Be careful with those straps. I once found myself stuck on the front door of our house when the straps got entangled with the door knob.

White jeans are not just for celebrities

White jeans were introduced with colored pants early 2008 and it’s still in nowadays. At present, these are worn mostly by celebrities so I wonder why ordinary guys don’t wear them.

They are pretty decent and good actually. It not only makes you stand out but they also go well with any shirt color.

I applaud you if you wear white jeans. Only a few have the guts to wear them!

Ash Gray and Cloudy Gray Jeans for Men

If you are opting to spend a few bucks coming from your mid-year bonus or extra money coming from your school allowance, then these jeans are worth every cent as they will surely be turning people’s heads.

These are the new gray jeans for men and they usually come in two shades. Ash gray like the one below:

There’s little difference between the two – it is more on how the shade of gray is spread throughout the piece of garment. I remember the first time I wore this, people couldn’t help but notice it as it is really eye-catching. It’s good to go with a white or black shirt, but in my experience, a black shirt is a perfect match!

Modern men’s formal trousers

I got bored with formal black slacks the other day so I went straight to the department store to find something new that I could wear at the office and other formal occasions.

While in SM Department store, I couldn’t help not to take a second look at Sahara’s new set of formal trousers. Why? It’s because they look like jeans!

If not because of its color, I would have mistaken this for jeans because the texture and material used is similar to the usual blue jeans. While they are really nice and trendy to wear, I have this odd feeling that I may get apprehended for not following the formal dress code. Many will probably think “WTF, are those jeans?”. But hey, who cares? This is the modern men’s formal wear and I’m loving it!

Colored pants for men

You know, I admire Bench because of their excellent marketing strategies. Who would have thought that they can make men wear brightly colored jeans? Take a look at the green pants below which I saw on the mannequin in their shop the other day. I have seen some people wearing them, but wait, not just “some” but many actually.

And these “nature” pants for men come in a variety of colors, some bright red as below:

And some, bright blue like these folded pants on the rack….

It seems like Filipino guys are becoming more and more hip nowadays. Now, what do you think of these colored pants? Are they “in” for you?

Skinny Jeans for Men

Last Sunday, I went to the mall with my family. I was there in the department store with my older brother because I was helping him out to choose jeans for himself.

So anyway we passed by Levi’s, Jag and RRJ and we noticed that everywhere we go we see skinny jeans for men. And the thing is that all the sales ladies were there promoting the same style – nothing but tight pants. So if you don’t have any idea of what in the world I am talking about take a look at this.

You know just by looking at it initially, you get to think about two things: One, is that this is so gay. Or on the other hand you may think that maybe you would look so damn hot in it – Reason behind? Well these are the type of jeans rock stars wear.

Out of curiosity my brother and I tried fitting a pair of these jeans and to our surprise it looks good to both of us. Even though I initially thought about weird things upon wearing skinny jeans, it turned out that I looked good in it. I actually looked like an amateur rock star.. oh yea! hahahaha. Now that’s beside the point because I believe that these type of jeans won’t really look good on everyone. It really depends on who is wearing it and how well that person carries the outfit right?

But seriously if you were to get a pair don’t ever get an ultra-tight skinny jeans. Choose one which still has room for your legs to breathe. If you’re a guy, wearing this could be quite uncomfortable at times especially because most skinny jeans use buttons instead of a zipper (oh damn!). And trust me it looks and feels weird in the crotch area, especially during the “wake-up” times.. haha.
