Share your first time in the Gym

Mas okay pag may kasama ka para di ka kabahan. Nung first time ko, may kasama ako pero iniwan ako after one week kasi nag-abroad kaya mag-isa na lang ako tapos nag-stop na rin ako. After 2 years balik ulit sa gym at may kasama ulit pero after 1 month, iniwan ulit ako kasi lumipat ng work kaya mag-isa ulit ako.

at mag stop kana then after 2years balik ulit.

pattern na yan.

Hehehehe, parang ganun na nga.  :P End na kasi ng membership ko this Dec.


My trainer just tested if I'm physically fit, and how much stress I can put on my muscles. This was a 45 min evaluation.

He had me do push up, seat ups, planking, and cycling.

Yep.. that was last June. They call it BodyFirst. Three sessions to start with, then the actual PT starts on the 4th session if you enroll to their program.

now that i have all the time to do what i want...
i want to go to the gym! but i don't know where to start. :-\

You can start with setting your goal. Why do you want to go the gym, then search for a community gym or fitness club. Depending on how much you are willing to spend for the gym.

pwede namang mag gym ang may scoliosis di ba? meron kasi ako nun eh

envying people who can exercise for an hour. i was exhausted after about 15 mins. hehe

hmm.. rare sa guys ang scoliosis.. teka anung type ba ung sayo? karaniwan eh S-type..

pwede ka mag-gym pero wag kang magbubuhat ng mabigat..

makakatulong ang gym sa pagtibay ng buto mo.. just do exercises na di nakaka-stress sa back bone mo..

pero of course, I would advise na magpa-physical therapist ka and ask your doctor bout it..

yup very rare nga daw ang scoliosis sa guys, its very common sa girls pero ewan ko ba kung bakit ako ang mayroon, kaya nga worried ako na baka makasama ang pag gym... pero i wanted to try na mag gym since 20 years old na naman ako
