Yup.. yung used-to-be biggest customer ng boeing ng 747s. sayang din yun no.. pag naiisip ko 1980s na big jumbos panAm flashes. nadali sila sa Lockerbie ksi.. tsk

solo nyo tong thread na to ah...hehe

mahilig din ako sa airplanes... na-adict nga ako dati sa flight simulator

meron dun yung mga flight plans etc... may frequency rin ng control tower (di ko lng sure kung yun ginagamit in real life)

naglalaro din ba kau ng FS?

Add ko lng din, bagong renovate na mga 747 ng PAL, may PTVs na lahat ng seats  ;D

wla lng, iguess nabalitaan nyo na rin to...hehe

oh yeah. kaso yung engine nun malamang luma na rin. at pang long haul flights na lang nila yung mga boeing nila since hindi na talaga yun fuel efficient.

tinanggalan na rin kasi yun ng first class para mas economical. so nagkaroon ng room plus mas manipis yung recaro seats, hindi masyado mabother yung nasa harap mo kapag lalabas ka sa aisle.

Pag-minsan, bumabyahe rin ung mga refurbished 747 sa Cebu & HongKong...

swetehan lng din... imagine domestic flight with ptvs? ok dba?
My mom went to LAX last summer pero hindi refurbished yung 747 aircraft na nasakyan nya. Siguro ni-rorotate nila assignment ng mga refurbished 747. Can't wait for 777's...

Mahirap rin pala makapasok sa PAL learning center, 12 lng kinukuha nila para sa trainings... with a whopping P1.5M training fee... pero sure na commercial pilot ka na ng PAL with P600k salary per month...  ;D

kapag domestic, they do not offer you to use it. nakasakay na ako going to cebu.
regional flights lang talaga pwede. medyo madaya.

hindi siya chambahan. may schedules talaga ang planes except for yung mga flights na EQV. ma surprise ka na lang. hehehe.

pilot ka kagad? hindi ba mag first officer ka muna? and for sure daming domestic nun pabalik balik ka lang to gain flight hours.

Ang alam ko pwede gamitin PTV eh, basta hindi promo yung ticket mo. Siguro bawal lng ung AVOD. Pero pwede daw kalikutin yung touch screen.

Pilot rin nmn tawag sa First Officer ah?

i guess puro domestic nga binibigay nila sa baguhan. pero ok na rin yun. ganun naman talaga sa lahat ng job. Antayan hanggang ma-promote.

i dont know if iget the avod correctly pero yun yung on-deck? they dont lend out headsets for you to hear. manonood ka lang. but its useless kasi wala ka rin control. so technically you are not/cant use the entertainment system.

AVOD is Audio Video On Demand... It's having access sa lahat ng movies and music.

Ang alam ko, pwede ka nmn maglaro ng games, at mgbrowse sa mga infos about the aircraft (altitude, speed etc)
