hindi ba choosy ka kapag go for high paying jobs?? mahirap yun lalo na kung fresh grad..

pag bata pa, ipon ka experience para may binatbat ka sa iba especially when lilipat ka na. high pay will come with experience and the necessary skills.

well kung callcenter, ewan ko paano dun... i guess pwede ka nga talaga mag shopping ng company na magbibigay sa iyo ng pinakamalaki.

bout call center and BPO companies -

kung choosy un mga applicant, choosy na din sila kasi un mga high standard or mga kilalang company they prefer to hire un mga graduate ng 4 years course at may experience.. just to share it lang naman..
dito kasi samin 4years kasi talaga ang tinatanggap.

We can relate with this because of the global recession which is the global economic slowdown, And I think this 3 percent or less is equivalent to a global recession.

Just to weigh in... i work kasi as a recruiter for one of the largest call centers here in the PI... and these things are the air that i breathe...

tips:

-dont be late if may schedule interview.
-maayos yung buhok, if ma avoid mu yung daming colors or long hair...
-be confident . --- super halata na agad ng recruiter ang confidence the moment na tawagin ang pangalan ng candidate at mag react si candidate... ingat ingat sa confidence... malaki ang bearing nito sa job hunting... pero ingat din not to be overconfident, mas malaki ang minus points nun... baka ma-tag ka pa na meron attitude problem
-if may job offer..dont sign right away..review the contract first... --- madalas sabay ang job offer and contract signing... and most of the time naman, i-walk through ka ng recruiter sa contract..
-dont think for short term job...think for long term....
-dont apply for one company ...mag apply ng mag apply... --- not necessarily... minsan turn off sa recruiter pag madami ka pending applications... impression: nagshoshopping ka lang at hindi mo alam kung ano gusto mo..
-if kailangan mag demand ng sahod kasi feel mu not worth it..mag ask ka during the job offer... --- pag fresh grad, wala ka pa "karapatan" mag haggle ng sweldo... wala ka pa experience e... most of the time, the first job is just for experience...
-during interview dont hesitate to ask for the possible salary ang benefits... --- range lang ang pwede sabihin sa interview... turn off pag 1st interview mo palang, sweldo na agad ang iniisip mo... motivation might be in the wrong place...
-sa interview be straight to the point sa answers nyo... --- be sure that you site specific personal situations...
-sell yourself....( your qualities ) --- make or break ang sagot sa tanong na "tell me something about yourself" ... and most of the time, ito ang pinaka-mahirap sagutin..

:D :D :D

goodluck sa mga new grads at sa future job nyo...

aja!!!!

haha yes, when our team was looking for new person to work with, we never considered those with a lot of pending applications especially for those who had multiple interviews already with other companies.

meron pang mga killer questions aside from telling something about yourself, yung mga "Forced" strengths and weaknesses. hahaha

maligo...

magtoothbrush...

magdeodorant...

at

higit sa lahat..

do some research.........

Always remember in an interview, first impression matters a lot!

meron ako nainterview kanina... english ang tanong, sagot tagalog! NOT QUALIFIED!

tip sa shake hands: not to soft na parang walang buto.. pero not to tight na baka mapilay si interviewer... tamang steady lang...

tip sa attire: wag OA! pagkatapos ng interview, pagtatawanan ka lang ng recruiters sa room nila...

just be yourself-- its a two way thing naman eh.. don't force yourself na makuha, baka di magustuhan ang work or yung manager kapag nahire haha.. job match din kasi..

Kung ako-- I usually shoot questions after the interview.. like ano specific scope ng work, kanino magrereport, etc. Kung nandun naman sa JD magtatanong pa rin ako haha.... kung yung naginterview di ko gusto at sya ang magiging boss ko.. eh di sorry na lang kami pareho.. mahirap makipagplastikan sa kausap, I swear!  8)

^^^ nice tips.

Dumont - expert na expert ah heheheh  ::)

mangkulas - I agree, pag tagalog - tagalog, pag english, english dapat.

when I attended a seminar with regard to interview stuff, it was mentioned though that --there is no such thing as overdress..it just means daw na pinaghandaan talaga ng applicant..basta 'wag magmukhang weird ah... wag lang din sobra sa perfume  :P
