NOT in public places because obviously, as you mentioned, there is no actual feedback kasi paano nga naman gagamitin sa lugar na iyon. What is the solution? there is actually an alternative methodology which is a house-to-house product testing.

WHY DO YOU NEED FEEDBACK?
this will be your gauge if your product is a success or you just wasted millions of money.

WHY IS SALES DATA NOT ACCURATE?
because your sales data will not give you an accurate feedback.
if mabenta, then good. but you need feedback to innovate. hindi habang buhay ganun lang ang produkto mo.
2nd, if HINDI MABENTA, ibig sabihin there is something wrong or missing. but paano mo malalaman kung ano ang MALI sa product mo? mabibigay ba iyon ng sales data? NO.
lastly, there is a process called merchandising. this is usually recorded a sale already having been disposed and the product went out to the market. but did it reach the end consumer already? hindi na po masasagot ng sales data yun.
