Anong gym ang malapit sa ayala? Yung desente. It will be my first gym with my first job  ;D.

exchan - parang mas gusto ko pa nga mag gym sa umaga kesa hapon. mas masipag ako sa umaga. after work, kadalasan pagod na.

hehe. anyway I've heard of 360 Fitness Club and yes kakaiba training nila. As far as I know wala silang gym equipment/treadmill sa loob ng gym, meron kang program na gagawin which involves running around makati and some weights or suspension training. haven't tried the full cirquit though my friends had.

speaking of gyms - Fitness First is there at Robinsons Summit, as well as Gold's Gym at Glorietta/Intercon.

exchan, chris,
360s description seems to be similar sa crossfit.
try checking crossfit mnl's makati branch @ unit 102 GF First Midland 109 Gamboa St, LEgaspi Village.
better conditioned individual can finish the WODs or exercise quicker.  may cap or limit ang epic work-outs around 45min... kadalasan nasa 15min or less lang but very intense. nasa 1 hr ang mga class kasi mahaba rin mobility/warm-ups which is excellent for stiffed muscles. here's their site for more details. and eto na rin ung sched http://www.cfmnl.com/makati-rates-schedules/

Speaking of gym before work. Di mo ba mararamdaman yung body sore habang nagtatrabaho? O msy after effect?

Medyo mahal kse crossfit by class rin baka di ako makacommit hehe. Pero malapit lang siya

Delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS) is typically felt the morning after a heavy workout or upon waking up after prolonged rest. It is described to be dull muscular pain of the exercised muscle that lasts for 2-3 days due to microscopic tears in the body. You should not feel the pain or DOMS if your muscles has accommodate to the exercise itself. That means if you're regularly exercising it would be rare to feel DOMS.

It is rare to feel very sore after a workout, it probably means you've injured yourself or you've used weights beyond your ideal capacity.

edit for added info.

Kilo 1000 - thanks for the info, first time to hear DOMS. Ibig sabihin ba nito ill feel doms dahil i don't exercise regularly?

Sensya medyo kabado lang baka di ko mahawakan yung mouse and makapagtype sa keyboard ;D after nung trial first time ko mag-ggym kse e.

Exchan,
But embraced the concept 2yrs ago kaso on-off since bahay lang ako at iba motivation ng may mga kasama.
Though matagal na ko nagstart sa traditional body building work out. Yet crossfit still surprises me sa kaibahan ng form and execution na alam na alam ko from years or workibg out but have to relearn even the basic squats... sa globos or traditional gym kasi quadcentric ang movement vs crossfit na glutecentric. Saka dati focus ko certain muscle parts whereas sa xfit may efficiency kaya more muscles are recruited.

Anyways, I can honestly say walng problem sa commitment kasi addicting ang crossfit lalo na kung competitive ka.... as for the price, papatak nanmas mura kasi may dedicated coach ka na nagmonitor ng movements mo. Whereas sa globos dapat may personal trainer ka to be in equal plane in terms of coaching.

Establish mo muna kng anong gusto mo then match mo kng anong discipline - yoga, bodybuilding, bootcamp, xfit...

They just put a name on the post work out pain.

Yes, if you stop for a significant amount of time. The next time you start exercising, you'll feel the pain.

If you have no regular workout routine or if the circuit training is way intense compared to the regular activities that you have, unfortunately yes you would feel the pain.

Mahahawakan mo yung mouse at makakatype ka. If you're scared, do the trial on the friday so you can rest on saturday and sunday.

Had my trial today at 360 fitness first.

take ka ng Ibuprofen or Naproxen, to ease the pain.
