UBER vs LTFRB

yeah. I'm furious that LTFRB suspended the UBER operation.
Kahit hindi naman ako madalas nag-u-Uber. Minsan na rin kasi ako nakapag-UBER. And it was very very very convenient.
Very convenient kasi lalo nung papunta ako ng airport or from airport to bahay.
Lalo kapag galing kang ibang bansa at marami kang dala, iniisip kagad nila, "pagkakaperahan 'to"...
Pero binago kasi ng UBER yun. Kaya I don't blame people now who became dependent on UBER.
LTFRB sucks big time!

^actually, wala na ngang uber.... Just tweeted about this.

Oh well, we really can't do anything about that. So bakit pinupunterya ang UBER? Asar lang.

^Just an update:

LTFRB released a list of violations apparently committed by Uber. The funny thing is, majority, if not all, are applicable to taxis and PUJs/PUBs.

So the question is, "Why the selective apprehensions?" The taxis, pujs and pubs have been committing the same mistakes for so many years but there isn't any move against it as public as this. Bakit?

If I know, may malalaking business man ang nasa likod nito.
Hawak sa leeg ang LTFRB. Kaya no choice ang LTFRB.

Uber pooled kanina. bakit palaging mas mura ang uber vs grab? can someone explain?

give me a government agency na hindi captured. i read somewhere the reason why mass-transit trains are painfully looong to get approvals, stuff, or built is because of the bus owners. Take for instance, yung PNR south rail covering Alabang to Divisoria. Yung volume pa lang ng passengers from Alabang, Sucat, and Bicutan is enough to ensure the revenue stream for a more frequent PNR operation vs the current twice-hourly peak and hourly off-peak operations. There are about 5-10 bus companies plying the Alabang, Sucat, Bicutan to Makati route. So there. And let's not talk about EDSA.

I will not be surprised if Uber gets booted out of Manila. I heard their license in London was revoked. Curiously, all and I mean all Uber users I know thought those violations were just for a sweetener for LTFRB. Like literally when they think LTFRB = Lagay.
