Credit Cards ko
1. BPI Amore visa- Free use of Ayala Malls lounge, Ayala Cinema Priority Lane, discounts during ayala mall sale

2. BDO Shopmore - additional 10% discounts and 3% rebates during sm mall sales, laki discounts sa mga hotels lalo sa ibang bansa

4. Chinabank World Card - My Favorite may kasama kasi siyang SM Prestige Card.

wala akong credit card. point cards, madami. hehehe

I'll start with the ones I have...

Citibank
1. PremierMiles Signature Visa - My main credit card for local transactions. It has a great peso to points conversion at PHP 30 = 1 miles. Similarly, it has a 1:1 conversion for airline miles (Mabuhay Miles, GetGo, etc). Recently, lounge access was downgraded from unlimited access to a DragonPass membership. This allows the card holder to access lounges twice per year.

2. Rewards Platinum Visa - Was approved at the same time as my PremierMiles. Will be cancelling this in case Citibank is unable to waive the annual fee.

Metrobank
3. Travel Platinum Visa - My main credit card for foreign transactions. Conversion is at PHP 17 = 1 miles if transaction was done in a different currency. PriorityPass membership is free (should be requested via customer hotline) but I don't think the access is...

HSBC
4. Red Mastercard - Signed up for this because of a flight promo at that time. Sadly, wasn't able to redeem it. Will also be cancelling this in case I'm unable to waive the annual fee.

BDO
5. AMEX Blue - Initially applied for AMEX Platinum but got this one instead. Weird enough, CL should have been sufficient for a higher-tier card but this was the one issued... Cancelling this one once I get a better AMEX.
6. Gold Mastercard - Was approved at the same time as AMEX Blue (companion card). Not activated.

PNB
7. PNB Travel Club Platinum MasterCard - Free annual fee for life. Currently serves as my back-up.

Trying to get AMEX Platinum for lounge access. I'll also be using this to replace Metrobank for transactions abroad since mababa ang foreign exchange rate niya. Medyo hassle rin kasi gamitin si Metrobank since wala pa siyang payWave (or other similar) capabilities.

Medyo mahirap sagutin kung alin ang best credit card, Sir Chris since this depends on what you are after... Is it Cashback? Miles? Reward Points?

BPI Gold. The statement that post a very late transaction. Swipe now. Pay 6 months later. Ndi kasi pumapasok sa system nila.

HSBC Platinum. Free annual fee. Free samsonite cabin size luggage. 10% Caltex rebate
3x points when used outside the country.

Citibank Rewards. No annual fee. Free 5k GC. Free Popcorn free wine. Free one pack lemon square cheesecake .

Citi premiermiles. 3000 annual fee. Every year. 30pesos 1 miles. It is good because it is for any mileage program.

I guess it is better to have no annual fee than saving points. Miles to convertion. Parang binabayaran mo din.

Interestingly, HSBC's Platinum Visa Credit Card has no annual fee for life.

Thanks to their ongoing promo!

HSBC also serves as a good reference when used to apply for other credit cards...

Kung malaki naman ang purchases at na-ma-maximize ang benefits, then these should easily outweight the cost of the annual fee. Pero kung hindi nga ganun kagamit na gamit, better go for NAFL credit cards.

di ba pwede mo naman ipilit sa kanila na free annual fee for life yung sa hsbc? ang problema lang dyan eh mahirap makahanap ng hsbc branch or better yet kukuha ka rin talaga ng debit account sa kanila.

PremierMiles don't expire. This card has the most valuable *points* because of the 1:1 conversion. Also add SQ KrisFlyer, Thai, and Malaysian for airlines and hotels such as Hilton and  IHG. '

Travel insurance also cut from  5M to 1M. Lounge access policy is disgusting now.

AF is 5k   :o  :o  but 1st supp is free for life.

PHP30 = 1 Rewards points but less valuable. Usually sa airline conversion 3 rewards points = 1 airline point. But if you use this card in dining and shopping, you get 3x rewards so still can earn same airline point as PM.
I always get my AF waived tho.
