Title: who tried shopping clothes online
Post by: gaara on June 22, 2011, 05:02:53 PM
hi PGG forumers!

newbie lang po! passive reader lang, but decided to post to solicit your opinions regarding buying clothes/shoes online.

anyone here who tried that before?  considering the item will be shipped from another country, is it worth the risk? for those who tried, what are the things that need to be checked para masigurong legit ung transaction?

pano po pala magpost ng pic? ;D

i've tried online shopping kaso local lang.  sister ko nag online shopping before kaso pinadeliver nya sa address ng relatives namin sa states. tapos ung relatives ko na ang nagpadala sa philippines. i am not sure pero parang cheaper ata that way?

anyway to post a pic, just click on the image icon  dun sa
Add BBC tags. un ung nasa second row. sa ilalilm ng italics icon. tapos ipaste or ilagay mo lang sa gitna ang address or ling ng image. kuha ba? di ako magaling mag explain eh. haha.

Madalas akong mag shop online. As long as the shop is legit by checking its reputation from other forumers or google searching its rep. Usually naman kapag big known shops even the local ones w/ good following is a sign na legit ang biz. My biggest concern is the siZing because it's considered as a blind buy for not actually fitting the products.... kung hindi local and the shop is abroad, pinakamaigi na makisuyo ka na lang sa kamaganak or kaibigan na nakatira doon. Or kung may forumer na nag offer ng proxy buying esp sa japan e it would also help but with a fee.

Pero kung walng choice, apart from the legitimacy ng online shop be wary about the shippong cost and duties/importation tax. Though some shops prepay the duties and taxes even shipping kasama rin w/c makes the shop attractive for the global market.

ok naman ba mga napurchase nyo online?  first timer kc. worried about the fit,

Best reference for sizing is checkinh forums abt fit and sizing. Or kng may similar styled fit na meron locally doon ka magsukat. So far tama nman ang karamihan na online purchases ko, sakto an ang sukat

sneakers, jeans and leather jacket... mura kung sa mura bilihin dito sa US pero may mga items rin from italy, UK, germany, japan, korea na mahirap mahanap dito or to say the least may kamahalan kung may makita ka esp kung pa-proxy mo.

hypebeast,
depends on the seller. based on my buying experience with ebay madalas paypal ko binabayaran.

Naka itemize naman ang shipper.  Madalas ang seller may preferred shipper like fedex or ups.  Kay sasabihin naman sa iyo price ng item plus shipping rate.  Preferably may tracking option para alam mo kung nasaan na binili mo.

oo nga nakakainis. shipping costs mas mahal pa sa item na binili ko kahit 10X pa nung presyo.

there are shops naman that offer free shipping if you reached a certain price level. good thing with european shops mas lower pa than the srp dahil tanggalin ang VAT kung non-EU buyer.
