I started working in Makati this month, and I had trouble adjusting to the new work environment and the venue. Do you have any life hacks on working in Makati, like route to avoid traffic, where to rent, etc. Thanks!
^ramillav - welcome back to PGG. where do you work in Makati? The best thing to do is mag rent ng condo. It helped BIG time.
anyway, I wrote something about it a while back. Hope this helps:

I work near RCBC.
^ramillav - I see. How's things going so far for you?
What I do for now is commute via colorum van in Petron/7-11 Malugay (P45) which goes to Pureza LRT Station and Balic-Balic (there's a trip to Dapitan, too). Travel time is around 30-40 minutes. Going to Makati, I catch a trip from Pureza 7-11 then get off at either Makati Postal Office or Fire Station and walk to RCBC Plaza.
It will take time for you to adapt to the ALWAYS HECTIC AMBIANCE of Makati especially when you're on street level
You can also try renting a bedspace. There's one I know that costs only 3500 with airconditioning, wifi water and all

Yup, nag condo sharing ako when I first transferred to Makati City. Ok naman. Swerte hindi malikot at makati ang mga kamay ng room mates ko. Better find other people you know to share the unit para at least kilala mo na makakasama mo. or, make sure maingat ka sa gamit.
^oh so hindi mo sila kakilala bago ka nakipag-share? wow

Yes, pero mga officemates ko na kasama ko. We are 5 occupying a 1-br condo in Makati. Hati hati lang kami sa rent na 18k.
Pero may nakikita akong ads sa OLX na condo sharing sa Makati ranging from 5-6k. Tyaga lang sa paghahanap
Im working in makati!
Tip from my experience is to walk instead of waiting a bus. It is much faster. Your body will thank u.
I walk From ayala ave to vito cruz. Sometimes quirino. Then i ride the LRT
Quirino and vito cruz has the shortest line.
