none of the above. hehe... I don't even care kung may magsmite sa akin as long as I know na wala akong nasasagasaan na tao dito sa forum.

And just like what you said, it is just for fun lang naman... wag lang sanang abusuhin ng mga members

for fun nga lang pero may ibang members na hindi natutuwa sa smite like sa isang member na nakakuha ng madaming smite. So syempre iisipin nya na marami ang di sya gusto at iisipi ng ibang newbie na makakakita na itong tao to, hindi sya gusto ng mga members... thought from a member..

^ i think siguro as a newbies point of view its better to display na lang the kar and not the specific smite/applaud, i agree with marfz. So to avoid cyber bullying and such instances of wrong impressions display na lang the Karma points as a whole.  8) #thinkb4uclick

yup.. I'll observe how the karma goes in the coming days and will check the results of this poll.

di naman siguro maaabuso kasi you can only applaud/smite one person in one hour.

Chris - naaabuso nga yun e.. kasi every hour, kung sana 1 beses lang per member  ;)

^1 per member per month? per year? or once lang tlaga forever?

every hour pwede ka magbigay ng points either applaud or smite sa isang member.
example. binigyan kita ng applaud ngayun, after 1 hr pwede kitang bigyan ulit.. ganun  :)

my two cents on this is that: maybe the applaud/smite should be given to the posts rather than the user. parang yahoo answers. tingin ko mas mahirap pero may tendency kasi na magka-personalan sa karma against the user, or gagantihan yung dating naka-alitan sa forums, or pupurihin yung mga "buddy-buddy". we are here to share thoughts and not to build cliques within a clique.

kaka open lang ng bagong forum dami ko na agad smite, I haven't posted anything yet that time maiintindihan ko siguro kung nakapag post nako and they didn't like my post yun  ok lang kung ma smite ako, pero I think he or they have personal issue against me.

And to that individual or those people na gumagawa nun heto lang masasabi ko, mapagbiro ako dito sa forum pero may sense naman mga pinopost ko noh >:(

Im sensing that this smite thing is giving a somewhat negative connotation. or maybe getting back to other people. Im sensing this kind of feature wont last long kasi it brings forth anarchy, negativity etc. I dont know. Kaya nilagay ni chris to para sa katuwaan pero parang nalalagyan lang kasi ng ibang meaning.

Napagusapan naman namin ni Marfz yan and he said that he doesn't care at all dun sa mga taong nagbibigay ng smite sa kanya.

I am not sure why some are taking this personally. Guys, this is just for fun.

Note that I even accidentally played with darkstar13's smite. He got the highest possible smite (-65535) and he even laughed at it.

I just have this idea that *March 2011 PGG active members would know* could possibly do it.

walang way.. any registered member can applaud/smite.

and speaking of displaying karma only.. it doesn't make sense kasi kung mas marami negative, negative din lalabas.. just don't take it seriously.

i guess, instead of changing anything regarding karma, let us just change our attitude / view towards it.

some member here might think of it as a tool for revenge to a certain person and some member will just ignore it.

Well, for me, the best thing to do is just to ignore it although you know that you will be pre-judged by the future members because of that smite thing.....

Another possible solution is to rename the Karma, Applaud, and Smite labels into something else...

I'll be renaming Karma, Applaud, Smite into Popularity Points, Increase, Decrease.

Another possible solution to denote that this is for fun is to rename it into Pogi Points or Astig Points...

if you give an option to someone to use something probability is they will exercise it but the fact that we only hope for them to be fair and responsible is just absurd. there will always be people who will abuse, powertrip and disturb the balance or give a false compliment to others.

as said ni sir jude 'unhealthy' and i agree kasi di maiiwasan yun iba maging conscious sa status ng karma nila i suggest lets focus more on how we forge our bond here by interacting more with sensible and non sensible topics rather than making our stay here more complicated.  ;D
