Sana maipasa ito to give the people the freedom to choose what they think would be better for themselves and to be able to have more control over their own life.

The legislative halls belong to the populace and the majority of which, according to surveys, are in favor of the enactment of the highly controversial bill. Please let our legislators do their job - to represent the people.
The Church is meddling too much on this aspect of the state's affairs. It would be better if they keep their hands off from the jar of politics and focus instead inside their own boundaries. In case what comes out is contrary to their belief, then they should limit their adverse reaction within their own group and simply educate their faithful followers into not using contraceptives, an option that is available now and still would be despite the passage of the RH bill.

Another thing... assuming that this bill would lead the way to legalizing abortion is an irrelevant conclusion. Cross the bridge when you get there!
