Yup, sa SM and Rob nakita ko na, McJim yung brand. And yes, it's kinda pricey. Yung maliit lang nasa 1,700+. Sa Bench naman, ok sana kaso naisip ko parang ang dami ko naman kapareho. Hehe.

i suggest if you would place a laptop, check out laptop bags as well. digital walker is a nice place.
it's better to have your gadgets well packed, imo rather letting it sway around.
since these leather laptop carriers also give you the same corporate look..
backpack all the way. can carry almost anything and almost for any occasion.
though hindi bagay kapag corporate wear, but who cares. hehehe!
what i like about it too is that weight is distributed evenly so it should not cause much harm to your shoulder and back plus your posture.
since college ako messenger na ako eh...
ever since tumungtong ako ng kolehiyo messenger bag na rin ang gamit ko.. mas convenient kasi to carry around
i need to buy a new messenger bag kasi sira na bag ko sa college pa yun.

my guess is as good as yours. but somehow the early 90's image of ladies bag with long thin strap to be placed over the shoulders lingers on. that is why im asking donbagsit. :)

a messenger bag can be carried with the strap on the right shoulder and the bag on the left side of the body....a shoulder bag only have short straps and cannot be carried across the body

same here! pero mas marami nakuha ko, aside from the bag with planner and "treat a friend to coffee" meron pa akong complimentary drink of choice na coupon.

there was a sale last weekend sa reebok. all backpacks were only 300 each. dont know if meron pa. bibili sana ako kaso na-realize ko dami kong kapareho. haha!

if you're going for the corporate look, that's great... but the question is, what do you usually bring home or to work? are you the type of guy who likes to bring home work, or do you like traveling light?
i personally carry a lot of stuff with me (i.e. office docs, small laptop, toiletries bag, etc.), so i like having a big tote bag. i bought one from memo a couple of months ago, which was the best investment i've ever made... nice extended faux leather bag with big leather handles fastened with metal clasps... it was well worth the Php1,200 i paid for it. so far, everyone thinks it's great... dami nang bumati, so good news yon ^^,
i went around MOA last week, and i saw this nice store called "5cm" (which i think is a japanese clothing store), they were selling this ultra cool tote in black and navy blue. the cool thing about that tote bag was that it can convert into a messenger bag too! it was amazing! pricey though at Php4,000+, but it was absolutely hip! something you can use for work and fun... practically two bags in one!
if you want to go smart casual (which is the general trend now for corporate attire), you would also want to do satchels. YES... MEN's satchels. normally when you hear "satchel" (really big roomy bag with big handles), you think "ladies bag", they've already started making satchels for men that are less ornate --- less chains and belt-y looking things that make it look like a ladies bag. they have awesome men's satchels at the zara men's department and at wade. if super tamad ka na mag hawak ng tote or satchel, don't worry much since most come with straps din naman hehehe!!!
another tip, pedro also carries an amazing line of men's bags. went into their store last week in bonifacio high street, and i fell in love with a business tote bag that's Php4,500. another project for me to work on... hehehe!
but if you aren't the type of guy who brings a lot of stuff (which is me during saturdays), they you should seriously consider investing in a good clutch bag. no... clutch bags are not for DOMs... hahaha!!! they're small and practical, and allow a guy to bring some handy necessities (like mouthwash, hand sanitizer, and cologne --- sobrang dyahe kung di ka malinis at mabango). most stores don't carry a good selection of clutches that look decent... most actually look like toiletry bags (which is absolutely tacky to bring along on a night out with friends). my suggestion --- go to either greenhills and 168 in quapo, and invest in a good knock-off clutch made from korea (i.e. LV, Gucci, D&G). i personally have a nice brown LV knock-off clutch that everyone loves... kulang na lang nakawin ng mga kaibigan ko hahaha!!! it was a hand-me-down from my mom (she thought it was a women's purse, but it was just too small... then she realized it was a men's clutch bag that she bought hahaha!) --- but costs around Php2,500. for the corporate denizen who doesn't like to bring a lot to and from work, a clutch bag is an essential ^^,

all i know are backpacks, which is what i used during highschool and college. that's it.

ngaun ang hilig ko sa mga small body bags. convenient din kasi. instead of putting my cellphone, ipod, money etc. in my pocket. dun na lang sa maliit na bag. pwedeng pwede dalhin anywhere :D

its just too much hassle at asikaso to take care of a bag/bringing a bag. eh kung maiwan ko pa, may nawala pa akong gamit...
perwisho pa pumila para pumasok sa mall, sumakay ng mrt at kung saan-saan pang may bag check na napaka fake at superfluous.

so true....di lang mall kahit sa mga grocery kukuha ka pa ng number para iwan ang bag mo.....naalala ko yung isang tropa ko nadala daw niya yung number sa bahay nila binalkan pa niya kinabukasan yung bag niya..... ;D
i agree with jorell, ang pangit kc tignan na bulky ung pocket with stuffs..
it does not necessarily have to be bulky. its basically not bringing anything... just pure essentials.
like a cellphone in the pocket-like a massive nodule.. oh well, a small bag really doesnt hurt.. alam ko sa mga groceries like SM and other stores like national book stores hindi na kailangang iwan..

I feel naked without a bag too. I bring it everywhere. My lola asked me to put it down kasi we were having a gathering at her house. Sabi ko "para akong hubad, Mama."(I call my lola Mama plus her nick). Baka may ginto daw. I told her na it's my security blanket. I have everything inside. I even put some of my groceries in it kasi I hate carrying lots of stuff hehe.
I prefer messenger bags. I got rid of my celio messenger bag kasi gamit na gamit na and the faux leather lining began to peel off. So, I bought myself a faux leather Levi's messenger bag. It's big enough for my things and it looks really good. Ok din ang bags ng girbaud. Di ako nagbaback pack kasi I really sweat a lot so dyahe yun.
I prefer back-packs, cause i'm a stoooodent :)
pero pag mga gimik,parties and regular and nigh-outs, yung bag ng magic sing ay ginagawa kong bag haha. neat huh?

i know you will all laugh when i tell you i feel NAKED without a bag...any bag but usually a back pack..im too lazy to keep track on what things to bring to work or on a date so i just put all the things which i normally need ( toiletries, planner, lots of pens, scientific calculator, unpaid utility bills, a music magazine to read during traffic jams, wallet, cellphone, keys, 2 face towells, pocket novena to Santo Nino and my personal bible: a printed copy of Rollingstone's Best 500 CDs Of All Time ) in a bag and presto, i will not worry about forgetting something anytime anywhere since i have them all in my bag...favorite brand :jansport coz their designs are varied..

depends what kind of rubber shoes..
well some may be as expensive.. but nothing compares to the branded shoes of iconic sportsmen. outrageously high but still patronized. 8)
