this is awesome! tumblr-like and fresh look. mmm... pwede ring mag-suggest na ibahin din layout ng forums? old school na kasi verdana na font hehehe :D just asking. :)

hehe yup. nagdadalawang isip ako dun sa black and white. pag white kasi background, black yung P and pag black ang background white yung P.
dun kasi sa icon, medyo mahirap mabasa pag black yung background. nagdadalawang isip ako kung dapat ba black background sa lahat or white background.

The reason kung bakit may necktie sa logo is because PGG is a man's blog and its topics are about men's fashion and lifestyle. Naisip ko na yun necktie ay yung pinaka related na symbol nun. hehe.
May isa pa akong naisip aside from necktie kaso parang di bagay dun sa font at itsura nung site.

hi sir chris... actually interactive naman yung forums as long as ili-link mo sa email mo yung mga notifs. though, kung ako ang tatanungin, medyo 2000-ish na yung verdana na font at old blue na motif. siguro, grey or light yellow para pampagising. at mas madaling mag-add ng pics, yung via upload na lang :D

I have updated the site to use the latest version of the forum software and there are now more features such as:

-New Smiley Set [:)
-Show Member birthdays on the front page.
...and so much more which I am still finding out myself.

yung IP logged -> meron din yun sa dating version. It's there to notify the user that IPs are being checked for spam.

I changed it a bit. (Look above). I wanted the pipe/bar to give emphasis to the user that he's now in the forums, and not in the blog's main page.

After knights there's more but I am thinking of removing those and using karma instead going forward...

salamat andy. another reason why this is much better than the old one is that aside from updating the layout, the forum software was also upgraded to the latest and greatest version. medyo marami din features na bago na sinusubukan ko pa lang hehe.

na pwede kang maglagay like... mga events sa calendar... PGG eb, outing, gimik, etc.

ok here's what I did. I disabled displaying the negative smite. So what happens here is that your profile will now display only the Karma figures based on this simple formula:
Karma = Applaud - SmiteSo for instance, if I have 10 Applauds and 3 Smites then 10 - 3 = 7 Karma points
That means my profile will display Karma = 7. Think this is better?

yun nga lang kung meron akong 5 applaud at 25 na smite, net -20,
parang hindi ko pwedeng i-psych ang sarili ko na 'at least may lima na nag applaud'.
baka pwedeng i-set individually sa account settings? though, hindi na magiging uniform yung display.
sp maybe, ang naisip ko, gaya sa ibang forum like proboards.com,
baka yung mismong post ang pwedeng i-applaud or i-smite rather yung user.

no, it's not possible to applaud/smite the post only. siguro walang personalan na lang. it's more of the points that you get based on your posts and not you as the person.

This is what I found out: "A Buddy List displays all of the members on the forum whom you have added as a "buddy". This list will also show their online status and contact information if available."
Parang list ito ng mga PGG members na madalas mo sendan ng PM.. parang contacts.
Makikita mo yung list na yan under your Profile > Modify Profile > Buddies/Ignore list.
