Tumutubo daw to from late teenage years til 21.. And ngyon eh na-eexperiece ko tong hinayupak na xmas present sakin. Di ko mainganga nang maige ang bibig ko dahil kumikirot sya ng bonngang bonggang bangalore india! AAARRAAYY!! At mapapasabi ka na "FFUUCCCKKK!!!" Di ko makain ang gusto ko..
So.. anu ba to? Bubunutin na ba? Di ba madugo iyon?
Possible scenarios:
1. Nag-eerupt pa lang yung 3rd molar/wisdom tooth mo so wala kang magagawa kundi hintayin na makalabas ito. Analgesics lang.
2. Nag-eerupt pa lang yung 3rd molar/wisdom tooth mo and infected yung gums surrounding it. If this is the case, antibiotic therapy, warm saline rinse, analgesics. Definitive treatment: debridement of the area surrounding the erupting tooth followed by cautery of the soft tissue where debris was trapped. Kaso, the soft tissue a.k.a. operculum, may grow back, so baka umulit yung condition. Extraction is an option
3. Nag-eerupt pa lang yung 3rd molar/wisdom tooth mo and impacted ito so hindi ito maka-erupt ng maayos - eruptive forces directed toward the adjacent tooth = pressure which cannot be dissipated due to the orientation of the erupting tooth = pain. Definitive treatment: odontectomy.
4. Cavities on the 3rd or 2nd molar. Definitive treatment: kung restorable pa, filling or root canal therapy. kung 'di na, extraction.
Eto yung mga usual scenarios. For proper assessment, see a dentist a.s.a.p. For now, analgesics lang muna.

Na experience ko na rin yan 3 years ago sa lower right ko. Ang sakit, kasi nag overlap ung "gums" ko sa teeth - bale nakapatong gums sa teeth. Everytime I chew something hard like bubblegum or meat, ang sakit parang namamaga pa, so ang solution eh patanggalin!! Hehehe! Pero patingin mo muna sa Dentist yan.
bale nagpunta ako sa dentista ko and di nya magets. nakita nya na namamaga yung mga laman ng ngipin.. pero yung ngipin mismo eh ok lang. healthy namn yung mga ngipin.. bingyan nya n lng aq ng 7 days na iinuming antibacteria tabs. nagxray dn aq at guess what! 3 na ang aking wisdom tooth pero isa lang yung nakalabas at yun ung masakit.
after days.. nakaka-kain na ako ng masmakapal pa sa french frise pero di singkapal ng ferrero rocher.. meron pa ding slight pain at limited pa din ang pagopen ng ngipin..
Just continue with the antibiotics. It does take a little time, minimum 3 days, for the meds to have a noticeable effect. Analgesics e.g. paracetamol, ibuprofen, etc., also help.
Mukhang operculitis. Operculum: the soft tissue covering the erupting tooth. Operculitis: inflammation of the operculum which may be due to debris getting inside the space between the operculum and the erupting tooth or trauma e.g. accidentally biting on the operculum while chewing.
Also try to get a Chlorhexidine mouthwash (Orahex or Astring-o-sol SPECIALIST) and use it according to package directions. DO NOT DILUTE IT. If you cannot find chlorhexidine, povidone iodine 1.0% also helps (Betadine mouthwash)

update: for some weird reasons eh bigla n alang nawala yung sakit at maga.. pero tomorrow eh magpapacheck up pa din ako sa doktor.
^ yup. May betadine na mouthwash. 1.0% lang yun compared to the 10.0% and 7.5% na for external wounds.
May solution pala dyan, pinatanggal ko ung problematic na wisdom tooth ko. :(
sa of today. parang nawalang parang bula yung pain... nung nagpacheckup ako eh malaki ang suspecha na me problem sa jaw ko.. which is di daw pantay..
kaso ang check up eh P5000 tapos ang palagay ng bakal sa ngipin with plastic na parang mouth piece eh papalo ng 200,000.
So.. forgive and forget na lang. Parang bumili ka na ng big bike nito.
200k? wow thats a lot. feeling ko maling dentist napuntahan mo. base sa exp ko kasi dapat ang isang dentist na nakakapagcheck at make some changes is dapat, TMJ something siya. then Ortho, then surgeon at dentist. parang ganyan. i can refer u. if u want ;)
tmj sya. pero i dont have any plans of wasting my money sa ngipin ko. basta't nakaka-kain pa ako, pwede pa.
yan din naisip ko eh. haii. pero may back up parents and guardians na nagfoforce sa kin minsan gus2 ko sabihin na kayo na lang mauna. hai...
OT: anu yung TMJ? (tamad mag-google.. haha)
ganyan din sakin,, hirap ako kumain tapos masakit lagi.. nagpunta na ko ng dentist pero ang mahal ng extraction ng ipin na yun,, nakalabas na pero half covered, kaya ang ginawa niya na lang eh inalis yung gums na nakatakip.. ayun 2months na din nakakalipas never na sumakit ulit,, nagkaron daw kasi ng infection. pero ok na ngaun.. regular na lang dapat daw ang cleaning :)

may nabasa ako na depende din kasi sa race/ethnicity ng isang tao. may race na wala tlga... and another case kasi is yung paraan po ng pagtubo nya. sa case ko, horizontal yung tubo. meron din vertical, at yung parang pa-dagonal. di lan ko familiar sa terminologies. :)
yep, mukhang pwede pa mangyari. usualli daw ages 18-21 lumalabas yung third molar.

I’m in my 30s and I still have mine intact. May mga episodes lang ng pagsakit. Already did an Xray at ayun nga, three wisdom teeth have yet to erupt, yung isa ay nababangga na yung ibang molars ko. Hahaha. Sheket.

^Did you have all four removed in a day? O separate sessions? I remember my dentist recommended na maximum of two lang ang gawin sa akin kasi may stitches daw definitely.

Naku sir sinabay sabay na ng dentist ko para isahan na lang. Ang tapang nga ng dentist ko eh kaso di nya kinonsider yung tapang ko hahaha
Yeah you're right some dentist advise to do a separate session and the removal of the wisdom teeth should be on the same side (e.g. right upper and lower wisdom teeth) para magamit mo pa yung opposite side for chewing.

Nagpasama ako sa wife from Cavite to Alabang pero ako din nagdrive pauwi kasi di pa siya marunong magdrive [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23] Ilang days ko din tiniis yung sakit at hirap sa pagkain. Pero ngayon okay na sya kakatanggal lang din ng sutures. Concern ko na lang napapasukan ng pagkain yung sugat hahaha

^^patanggal mo na yan pre habang di pa siya kumplikado. Ako kasi it takes 7 years bago ako nagdecide na ipatanggal na. Lately kasi napapadalas na sumasakit sya. Nagiinom lang ako ng pain relievers. Then meron din kasi akong TMJ problem (nagcclick yung joint malapit sa tenga pag ibubukas yung bibig) kaya advise sa akin ortho braces kaso di pala pwede na ibrace ng hindi naaalis wisdom tooth kaya no choice haha

Hassle nga pre eh. After recovery ng tooth extraction ko magpapasched na ko for ortho braces. Bukod sa ang hirap isingit sa sched magastos pa hahahaha. Pero natakot kasi ako baka maglock jaw ako pag di ko to napaayos [emoji23]
