yep ok na ang suzuki swift cheapest version among mga kalaban niya. sulit na nga kaso maliit lang talaga ang room.
yung i10, ewan ko lang kung pinapatay niya ang getz since same naman silang hyundai.. mas ok kaya ang getz.

the new 2009 focus ROCKS! kung may pera lang. pero hindi ko pa rin gusto ang diesel para sa isang sedan.

- yep the older vios is much better. sablay lang talaga yung digital gauge na mukang calculator. actually yung facelift 2006 version hindi na kailangan bihisan, sobrang swak na yung stock.
5.getz CRD + Diesel aw. ung 1.5 lng nila
CRD ay diesel na yun. (common rail diesel) hehe! kahit yung 1.1 lang pwede na basta city driving.

sure altis ka. pang-gurang yan dude. at sayang sa pera walang value for money, maingay pa yung vvti nila.. pero kung yun talaga choice mo. oks lang! 8)

dude hindi yun dealer. kasi kapag dealer, sila yung distributor ng car. pwedeng toyota cubao, toyota bel air, toyota otis etc.. baka lang brand yung pinag-uusapan mo kasi versus other brands yun. kapag dealership within lang yun sa toyota. kung sino yung nakabenta at maayos ang service for a particular year.

then my car was born-again.. binalik ko to stock specs, tanggal lahat ng body kit and restored sa dating itsura minus the spoiler. tanggal lahat ng emblems. palit ng light weight 15in mags then usual bolt-ons - airfilter, longer suppressor and better exhaust system... di ko lang tinanggal ang sounds but kung may takbo sa RWYB. madali naman tanggalin.
2nd car honda civic EG hatchback... my dream car noon pa. it's a slow poke kaya engine transplant from a civic type-R EK9 na B16b engine... it also have the other goodies dahil front cut galing - big brakes, 5 lug wheel hub, CTR OEM springs, nissin calipers and LSD... palit rin ng mags to lightweight 15incher.. usual bolt-ons lang for upgrade since the car is already beyond my abilities - airfilter, 2in pipes, front/rear upper/lower strut bars, stiffer lowering springs and JASMA muffler. more than 1 year bago ko nagamay i-drive sa track. my plan even backed fire kala ko bring the best bakal to push me to higher class kaso nahirapan akong i-drive :( unlike the GSR na match with my abilities and even able to outrun bigger displacement cars sa class ko.
ngayon, i just ride my biskleta :D still saving for my porker ;)

oo, B16b is more than enough for the track. actually, kung ulitin ko lahat ng ginawa ko, nag-stick muna ako sa 1.2L kapag na-maximize na ng driving skills saka palang upgrade to B16b which is a big leap na rin.
lahat ng surplus engines galing ng japan. kung front cut buong harap literally i-cut so it includes the whole engine including components like radiator, ilaw, front fenders, LSD, close ratio gearing etc... swerte na lang ako nakasama pati rear disc brakes and springs... kung half cut from back ng front seat all the way to the bumper naman ang putol
re: FJ... mayroon ninong nun i think he got it for 2M nung unang labas at sa mga importer nya nakuha. sad thing lang with FJ parang tigil na rin ang production life nito kasi di ata kumita. pero sarap i-drive nito. kino-convince ko dati barkada ko na eto kunin instead of the camry. tinest drive namin and di ka bitin. maganda handling, sa hilly twisties namin dinala, ni minsan di nag-gear hunting tulad ng CRV. yep, A/T tinest namin kasi un ang gusto ng kaibigan ko. the best na FJ na nilabas ung tom's equipped.... wala ka ng papalitan.

oo maayos yung FJ pero sa states ko nasubukan yan (sumakay lang). dati kasi pinagpilian kung van (sienna) or yung FJ. magiging family car kasi so my cousin ended up getting the sienna.
excellent choice ang sienna for family car... maluwag at may ample space pa para sa luggages... ung FJ pang binata hehehe excellent bike carrier parehas ng honda element kasi very spartan ng interior.

the locally released units used to ballpark 1M during the late 90s. sadly, lahat automatic... same sentiments w/ nissan 200SX lahat AT :( the imported ones naman afaik is around 400K... imo the gen1 and gen2 eclipse are the best compared to the newer version 8)

di ko na alam presyuhan sa atin pero mas madali ng makabili ng evos and even exotics. afair 20 units lang ata ng evo IV officially release thru dealership. and its bare walang -> aircon, recaro seats (regular seats lang), magwheels (steel rims lang), brembo (regular calipers lang), power amenities, foglights (plastic cover lang)... dahil RS which makes it relatively cheaper than the GSRs (the one with the complete options).. pero most after ang RS since its an enthusiast model na i-upgrade rin :D

actually ok na yung conversion na gawang Pinas, problema lang yung mga kits, kailangan maganda talaga yung pagka-chop at buo pa yung mga parts na nabaligtad.
hindi rin ako masyadong familiar sa conversion ng mga lancer. hindi ko alam kung limited, pero mukhang hindi naman. basta haba lang din ng lead time para sa mga orders. tapos ang laki ng DP. medyo kawawa ka talaga. buti pa mag import na lang tapos convert. JDM pa. hehe

w/ lancers, may nabibili sa casa. pati civic type Rs and pajero evo. nasa 25K ballpark ang buong dash kit. kung silvias kadalsan galing sa A31 cefiro ang dash w/c is still good.
i once asked a friend on how can you tell if the conversion is good... sabi nya kung parehas on every bit sa LHD car including details sa pwesto ng switches, signals, wipers... DIY nya kasi conversion ng JDM CRV :D

mahal din ang piyesa ng mga bike less lang ng konti sa mga piyesa ng kotse minsan mas mahal pa sa mga piyesa ng kotse. Magandang pang exercise yan, Pero its not for me ;D
yup, mahal nga piyesa ng bike and comparable sa kotse... best example kung magpalit ako ng wheelset, parehas ng presyo ng japanese made volk racing ang isa set... its 4 car wheels vs 2 wheel set...
one of the most expensive bike wheelset na nakita ko is almost the same price ng highend magwheels from HRE and Neese... about $4K-6K per set :o
pero tulad ng oto may murang pyesa rin :) cheapest wheel presyong isang tire ng kotse :)

yup, dilemma nga minsan kung bibili ka ng oto sa atin. madalas kasi may new car mentality. pero sa ngayon na mas maraming cheaper imported used cars mas malawak ang options... mas magulo hehehe my cousin fell sa bagong oto trap with his FD civic. sabi ko sa knya check nya rin ang idea ng mga properly converted JDM goodies... ayun last year binenta ang FD and his old EK civic for DC5 integra type R... then konting pangkulit sabi ko sana nag-bagong scooby STi sya hehehe pero parehas ng sabi mo nasa 2M++ pa sa casa :(

present! yup, mahilig sa kotse kahit walang oto :D bisikleta na lang pinagtutuunan hehehe buti di pa ko nangangating palit-palit ng pyesa... unlike kotse kasi kahit i-track mo on weekends you can still keep it good looking... sa bike nakakahinayang bumili ng new parts since i thrash my bike a lot... just had my wheel service and the bike mech told me that it's too beat up :D

dami nga basta may kilala ka rin na importer, sila yung magaling pumili from the batch na i-ship pa lang dito. sad case lang tambakan tayo ng mga basura nila at binabayaran pa natin. tito ko na nag buynsell, may sylvia. mukhang ayaw na rin pakawalan.
napansin ko lnag sa sylvia, more than drift car etc.. pwede siya pang date ng mga chicks! hehehehe

medyo partial ako sa mga american made cars... pangit ng workmanship, sad to say... basic painting na lang kapag titingnan mo ang loob di pantay at di rin makinis. chineck ko dati chevy equinox ng kaibigan noong naghahanap kami ng sasakyan, di talga maganda pagpaint and materials used.
even their baller cadillac escalade, di ok ang weatherproofing ng seals.

parehas ng s14/200sx ang locally released eclipse noong late 90s na automatic lang nilabas sa atin :( though isa sa mga kakilala ko pinaconvert agad to manual.
yep, it's an advantage kung may kilalang importer... the saddest thing with the imports is it's killing our auto manufacturing industry.
pangarap ko sana this year makabili na ko ng sariling oto :) it's been 6years na rin na wala akong sariling kotse :(

patok? in terms of dami na nakikita, with its same pricepoint na lexus RX11, mas marami akong nakakasalubong na RX11. pero kung patok in terms of practicality, hands up sa MDX kasi 7 seater compared sa 5 seater ng lexus. maganda rin finish and ride comfort, may MDX kaibigan ko and pampamilya talga with touch of class... not considering the price at straight-up comparison ng features mas counterpart ng MDX ang GX11 kaso mas mahal ang GX11 ng lexus than MDX. kung itsura... mas fogi ang GX11 pero $10K more naman sa presyo :'(
in terms of size, malaki nga ang armada comparable sa toyota sequioa. ganda ng leg room kahit sa last seat sa likod. nakalimutan ko lang reklamo ng kaibigan ko about her dad's armada. pero pansin ko with japanese brands dito sa US, kung CBU from japan matibay talga since pure japanese quality... kung sa US na gawa medyo may problems na lumalabas. ung armada gawa na rin kasi ng US.
yun nga eh. di nako nakakakita ng mdx. yun pa naman yung gusto kong sasakyan sa US. but yeah, tila mas may equity na yung lexus, masa marami na rin ako napansin.
ok. parang nagustuhan ko lang yung armada pero parang sa US lang din available kaya siguro dyan na rin assembled. parang hindi gaanong economical pati ang ibiyahe pa ang ganung kalaking sasakyan.
