Hmm, basically our shoulder consists of muscle separations.. like the shoulder is called the trapz whereas the base of the arm is called the deltoid... The deltoid consists of 3 sections which you need to work out to even out there muscle mass.. Below is my workout for the shoulders..

Dumbell press
12 reps in 3 sets
80% of your max strength
30 secs rest in between
These works all the deltoids.

Front Raise
12 reps in 3 sets
60% of your max strength
30 secs rest in between
This work outs the front deltoid.
It's ok to swing the dumbells especially when it feel a little heavy on you.
Keep a rhythm.

Side Raise
12 reps in 3 sets
60% of your max stregth
30 secs rest in between
This work out the middle deltoid.

Reverse Fly
12 reps in 3 sets
60% of your max stregth
30 secs rest in between
This work out the rear deltoid.

Military Barbell Press
12 reps in 3 sets
70% of your max strength
1 min. rest in between
This works the overall mass of the deltoid.

Shrugs
12 reps in 3 sets
100% of your max strength
30 secs rest in between
This works your trapz.. and you'll get your shoulder pads..

gusto ko magpa improve ng shoulders medyo mahina pa compared to other body parts

kailangan ba talaga bes 3 repetitions? kais pagdating sa pangatlo eh hirap na hirap na ako.. lol! ;D

hmm.. bale ask for a spot n lng bes.. or kung walang mag sspot sayo eh "til failure" n lng ung rep mo..

bale nakakatulong sakin ung paghinga ng malalim while lowering the weight tpos exhale pag lifting the weight. it feels n prang gumagaan ung weight.. Dpat focus on your deltoid muscles. dpat dun mo mafeel ung "pag kontrak" at  hinde sa joints.

also drink lots of water..

dpat mafeel mo ung prang namamaga ang deltoid mo. ung prang ang sikip sikip ng feeling ng delt mo..

minsn, nakaka2long specially in my case ung mga energy drink like red bull or kape.. i feel more energetic ehh.. pero i dont usually drink red bull.. pg puyat lng.

recently i just add behind the neck press (light). and cable flies (light). sinisinget q sa bandang dulo ng training..

akala mo lng light pero sobrang hirap nyan kase pagod na ang mga muscles mo pagdating jan..

pinapagawa sakin parati sa gym ung combination;
front raise+side raise+reverse fly nasunod sunod. kaya parang pitik na lang matatanggal na ang arms ko.

marvin, ok ba ung cable exercise na hinahatak mo ung cable to your chin? ano nga tawag dun?

yup. gawin mo ung pinagagawa sayo. Oo ka lang dpat nang oo prang isang pokpok na nkkpgseks sa crush nya. hehehehe. Mahirap pero its worth it nmn... Tpos mix it with heavy weight workouts. Lean ka eh so magiging masdefined ung sayo kagad. eat more protein.

hmm,, alam q un eh..pero dq alam ung tawag sa knya.. yup pwede un. pwede ka ding gumamit ng e z bar to do that.

malalaman mong nagkakalaman n yang shoulders mo pag lumilitaw n ung "three heads" ng shoulders mo..
Parehas tyo ng built so I'm still working it hard as well...

natural lang ba na every rep eh magadd ng weight? like Jude, pagdating sa last rep eh hirap na ako kasi sobrang bigat na ng weight.although tinutulungan naman ako ng PT ko. Pero kasi pakiramdam ko is pagdating sa last rep eh sya na ang nagbubuhat at parang ako ay support na lang.

^^ well, madameng mga methodologist sa pagbubuhat ng weights. (prang complicated no? i know.)

pwedeng add nang add ng weights until makuha mo ung pinkaheavy lift mo.

pwede dn ung pnkamabigat tpos without rest eh aalisin ng pt mo ung mga weigths every end of a set in a super set.

pwede ding 1-rep max lng.

so, i think ok lng un.. Basta give all u got sa last lift na sobrang hirap ka na.. Nakaka2long ang coffee before going to the gym. pampagising.

ang problem lang kasi sa akin, pagdating sa shoulder work out, which is hirap na hirap ako... pagdating sa last rep eh bumibigay na ang mga arms ko... hehe.. parang namamanhid na... ang result eh ndi ko na kaya pa ang maglift ng aus...

cguro dahil na din sa ndi ko pa din makuha ang tamang technique sa breathing kaya hirap ako.

^^ pag ganun eh focus more and concentrate on your arms. Sabihin mo sa mga braso mo na buhatin ung weight!! You can scream if you want. Pero not always kase annoying. Hehehe!

nagagawa ko lang to kapag sa threadmill... haha... hanggang 8mins na diretsong jog ang nagagawa ko.. max is 8 ung speed. tpos nun eh lakad lakad na lang... :)

pero sa lift eh minsan nagagawa ko pero pabulong bulong lang.hehe

ang pinapagawa kasi sa akin ng Pt ko every session is 15 mins threadmill.
so ang ginagawa ko is 8-10 mins na run/jog max of 8 ung speed,0 gradient.
then ung remaining is walk na lang 5-6 ung speed. para maging maayos ung breathing ko for lifts.

well, i think ok lng as long as feel mo eh me lakas ka pa magbuhat. Basta dpat eh hinde ka humihingal pagkatapos ng threadmill kc pagod k nun pag ganun ung nangyare.

yeah.. kaya pag ramdam ko na hinihingal na ako eh nagwawalk na lang ako..
kasi nung before eh naexperience ko ung kinakarir ang cardio kaya pagdating sa pagbubuhat eh wala na ako..lantang gulay na ang katawan ko.

ginagawa ko lang running according sa pace na kaya ko makipag-usap habang tumatakbo. ibig sabihin hindi ako hihingalin sa pace na un. 15mins na tuloy tuloy.

tapos stretch lng ng konti, not over stretch tapos buhat na.

ung warming up stretch... pero iwas lng sa over stretch baka lalo ka lng ma-injure.

very light weight warm up. no cardio.
light stretches.
heavy workout.
cardio.
after workout aq ng-sstretch.. I do side-splits. ^_^

siguro nga... kasi ung mga nakikita ko na PT sa FF eh puro broad shoulder lang at defined ang chest. ndi ko kasi makita ung legs nila kasi wala akong balak na tignan.. di bale sana kung mga babae sila... hehe.. :)

Hahaha! Anyway, meron nmng mirror sa changing room ng FF eh. Pag nka-brief ka eh u can take a look at yourself sa mirror dun. Tignan mo kung proportional ka pa din or meron ng kailangang i-improve.

Hmm, ganito avoid empty calories n lng.. like sofdrinks, sweets, beer, alcoholic beverages, junk food, kropek, noodles, etc. Dpat ung wholesome foods like meat, vegetables, rice, pasta. Avoid ung mga me preservatives as much as possible.

I think its best to look at urself at the mirror.. Tpos tignan mo honestly ung gusto mong palakihin sa katawan mo.. Dpat ma-imagine mo ung end product ng gagawin mo. Ganito ang gngwa q eh. Hehehe, kase mhirap at mahussle ung sinusukatan ka plus kailangan mo ng PT to do that.

twag jan eh DOMS. Delayed Onset Muscle Strain. Ni-rerepair kase yang area na yan kya mapapansin mo na mejo mainit at makirot. Kase nagkron yan ng micro-trauma at napunit ung mga muscles mo pero microscopic na punit to ah. na-overload eh. Kya ang choice ng muscle mo eh magpalaki para kayanin ung ganitong pahirap. Pag ganun eh pahirapan mo pa.

dapt umiinom ka after mong mag-workout. Pwede kng uminom ulet ng whey bago ma2log.. (Pero I advice casein protein nmn ang inumin mo bago ma2log). Tpos every morning eh inom ka ng 1 centrum o kht anung multivitamins.

Naalala ko palaging sinasabi sa akin ng PT ko every time na magbubuhat ako ng barbell,inclined and flat plane, eh "sir, relax lang"

Paano ba magrelax habang nagbubuhat ng barbell?

Well, ang basics nyang eh focus only dun sa mga muscles at work..

Like for example sa bench press... Focus only on your arms and chest.. Dont exert any effort sa legs. Mdame aqng nkktang pati leeg nila eh ina-angat nila which is wrong because you are just giving unnecessary strain on your neck. Dpat relax lang ang leeg.

although lam ko na medyo tensyonado ung arms ko kasi nanginginig na parehas kapag ndi ko na kaya.

siguro need ko na din iadd ang push ups sa morning routine ko.
ndi ko kasi ginagawa un dahil medyo hirap ako sa push ups.

This work out the rear deltoid.

Military Barbell Press
12 reps in 3 sets
70% of your max strength
1 min. rest in between
This works the overall mass of the deltoid.

Shrugs
12 reps in 3 sets
100% of your max strength
30 secs rest in between
This works your trapz.. and you'll get your shoulder pads..
