are you referring to chapped lips?

lip balm or petroleum jelly is a must. it may get infected, worst case.

Petroleum jelly works best for me. The only thing I hate about the cold months is chapped lips :(

If symptoms persist, consult your doctor.

Carmex (a brand of lip balm) is effective for me. Drinking adequate amounts of water and avoiding licking your lips can also help prevent chapped lips.

Chapped lips = dehydrated person unless nasa Great Britain, Canada, US, or kahit anong malamig na lugar at kailanganin mo ng mga lip balm.

sa lips dapat natural ingredients ang gamit. or else it would be very harmful. we should use chem-free ingredients. I'm using BurtBee's natural beeswax its very effective. it made my lips look fairer, healthier and stronger in just 3 weeks. try it and see for yourself. (lakas makacomercial noh. ahaha...XD) pag namamahalan, we could use humanheartnature products. because men do not destroy the nature to get things beautiful. they save it! ;)

I just remembered: If you have overestimated the lip balm you put in your lips, you can add them to your eyelids.

Sobrang humid naman ng pilipinas... I don't think a lip balm is needed for chapped lips unlike the western countries na nakakadry yung lamig.
Usually pag may cracked lips either dehydrated or may autoimmune disease yan.

If you are suffering from extremely dry/chooped lips, try this before going to bed. apply generous amount of petroleum jelly then rub in a teaspoon of white sugar, The coarse grain will strip off dead skin while the petroleum provides the needed moisture and makes the lips supple.

Ah. A friend would brush his lips with his toothbrush after brushing the teeth.
(daming brush, no?)
