Today I've tried to eliminate members whom I believe are spammers to maintain the post quality in PGG forums.
I have also banned some addresses to prevent them from registering in the forums.

Had another round of spam cleaning today.. so some members which look like spammers were deleted.
I have also implemented an automatic-ban for some spammers which were logged in the forums. If you think that you are a legitimate user and have been banned, kindly send me an email at pinoyguyguide(at)gmail(dot)com
this is getting really hard.. but many thanks for the efforts!

electronic spam(or simply spam) is any unsolicited bulk messages. the most common are text message and email spam. usually advertisers use these kind of methods to advertise their products by sending images or links because this method is basically low on cost.
while other want to advertise, other intends to phish("yes fish") information by sending links, exe file, viruses and other malicious programs that would retrieve information from sites, email accounts, social networking sites or your personal computer.
so in my opinion, if people are aware that their personal information are maybe at risk by accessing the links or files sent to them; i think spam advertising is no longer effective.

sorry guys ang daming spam recently. i'm installing a script that will help improve spam prevention.
meanwhile, may mga nag volunteer to help in cleaning up the forums - elgimikero and marfz. thanks for helping me, angelo and dumont.

usually po kasi admin pag madami na hits ang isang forum dumadami visitors pag madami visitors dumadami yung mga product endorsers so bottomline pag sikat na yung site normal na mga spammers.
