Mag-eenrolment na next week and ayokong makita nilang ganto yung mukha ko. So to save my face and myself, i need ur help guys. Haha. Nakaka-turn off kasi, kahit sakin.
Hiyang ako sa mga pambabaeng brands especially Pond's. I need to get rid of these in a week's time. Considering na i'm here sa Leyte, walang watson's. Mercury lang and some local pharmacies. Help Help Help.

mhilig kb sa cholate drinks? if yes, bka un ang isa sa nkkpag triggered ng pimples mo like me... kaya d n tlga ko umiinom ng khit anung chocolate drinks esp. MILO.. ;D
khit na grave shift ka... if u have still time, try to sleep at least 8hrs and drink a lot of water...
may npost na cla d2 sa forum bout anung pang wash sa face... sbi ni angelo mgnda daw ang CETAPHIL (pero i think sa watson lng ata meron nto)... kaya gus2 ko din itry...
ako kc ponds facial wash lng as of now after that un detox naman... pra ma-lighten un acne marks... ako din kc may mga marks... :)
un iba sbi nila effective than un effect ng MYRA E.. hindi lng kc vitamins nkkwla din daw ng pimples.. :)

tama si marfz, stress at puyat lang yan. hindi ako masyado naniniwala sa food at nagtanong na rin ako sa derma dati, wala raw kinalaman ang food kung meron man, napaka konti. important daw talaga yung tulog.
kung kaya mo siyempre seek the doctor's advice. kung wala heto lang mga tips ko.
kailangan mo ng panlinis ng mukha (kahit na anong brand bahala na ka.)
tapos kelangan mo ng toner. pampasara ito ng pores kasi malinis na sila tapos para magsara preventing further infection = pimples.
tapos kung gusto mo bumalik sa dati, kelangan mo mag-peel. pero dapat talaga may abiso ng marunong para tama lang.
word of caution, usually kung nagmemedicate ka ng ganito, bawal kang maarawan.
para naman sa cetaphil, oo mas mahal siya compared to most cleansers. imported kasi.
if gusto mo naman ng scrub pangpa-alis ng dead skin cells, gamitin mo yung scrub na gawa ng galderma (same maker of cetaphil) mahal din ito pero sobrang effective mga 3 lagayan lang, smooth na yung face. parang gamot siya kasi hindi na over the counter lang. meron nito sa mercury.
kung gusto mo naman oral medicines - pampatay ng bacteria sa face gamit ka ng doxycycline (generic lang ito, kaw na bahala pumili ng brand) - kaso lang antibiotic ito na baka kailangan mo ng reseta ng doctor.

haha! i think meron naman siguro sa mercury niyan, or yung mga local drugstores or department stores.
isang pinakamurang "gamot" for pimples, use Katialis. maraming tao ang nag-vouch para diyan. locally made.
tapos meron akong nalaman na gamot din from a friend. parang roll-on siya para sa face, gamot/cleanser na rin yung name niya erythromycin - basta parang ganun yung generic niya nabibili sa drugstores, mga 350 daw isang bote.
tapos pagbuo na yung pimple pwede mo rin lagyan ng benzoyl peroxide - yung usual na ginagamit ng mga derma to treat pimples. famous brand dito = panoxyl. famous brand sa states = prozac. both have the same function.

Subukan nyo lng, maybe it'll work for you.. Just don't forget proper hygiene, cos even the most innocent man can have pimples if he's not a person of good hygiene..

ako dati nagawa ko na 4 months talagang wala, (kasi sumali ako sa isang camp) so medyo wala talagang time to do anything sexual. pero nagkaroon pa rin ako. suspetsa ko, siyempre may mga physical activity at nadudumihan yung mukha, at hindi masyado nalilinis. at kahit naman nung mga times naman na medyo napapadalas, wala naman basta hindi ko nakakalimutan maghugas 2x a day.

yep grabe talaga yung stress!!! sobrang nagpapalabas ng mga pimples kahit na anong pilit na pagpigil sa kanila, wala na.. gamot na ang katapat.

yep i have to agree. it is a lot better to prevent pimples than actually having them and undergoing the agonizing pain when they prick it... aray! ;D

cetaphil lang ginagamit ko or mild soap (d.o.v.e ulit) tamo, sobrang nice ng epekto.
just use mild soap.
a facial scrub will do ones a week.
use facial cleanser that has NO ALCOHOL (cetaphil).

hindi ba sumikat nga yung proactiv diyan sa states? but a lot of people i know who bought it say it was not effective at all. baka nga sanayan lang talaga. i have proactiv toner, but i dont use it since i dont have the complete set. naisip ko baka useless kapag hindi yung buong regimen ginagawa mo.
i think for me d effective sken un proactiv..
sa una lang sya...
effective un mask nila.. un lang un gusto ko..
may benzoyl na content kasi...

sumikat yan dito... sa katunayan nga... a lot of people have used proactiv... pero kc in the end nag wawane ung effectiveness ng product.. pero still its working.. un nga lang nd na katulad nung firstym mo ginamit... kaya i switched to murad..na super effectiv naman..

pimples naman yan. ako kahit medyo mahal na talaga, ayoko lang talaga may pimples. hindi lang sa masakit, hassle, malaking bawas pa sa pogi points.

I wouldn't recommend Proactive! that's for sure. It's not effective and it's uber expensive. Sa commercials nila, they skipped on a lot of important things na they should have included. Sobrang hassle gamitin. Kung ayaw mo magkabreak-out, Iwas ka lang sa dairy products and grains. Tapos drink a lot of water. Your sheets must be always clean din :)
yea, procactive is not really effective.
i already tried it, sa simula lang parang maganda pero pag tumagal na wala ng effect. kaya sayang lang un money ko.
But now im using ISKIN Deep Cleanser i bought from FFlawless. I must say na effective sakin. nag dry agad un pimples ko in just several days.
so ngayun un marks na lang kaya im planning to do powerpeel suggested ng derma.

Lahat ng pampatanggal ng pimples, nasubukan ko na noon.. lalo na highschool. and lumala pa lalo. eto, mejo nakakatawa pero, ginagamit ko to hanggang ngayon, and bihirang bihira ako tubuan ng pimples. PERLA. hehe.. yung white! pagligo, bago matulog at pagnaramdaman mong oily na mukha mo. tignan ang resulta makalipas ang ilang linggo. hehehehe.. .
narinig ko na yan... may mga gumagamit talaga niyan.. pero not advisable kasi detergent bar yan eh.. sobrang dry ng skin mo pagkatapos,,, masyado pang basic yung pH level niyan. mas ayos yung facial wash or soap na for oil control.. pero mas mura nga naman yung perla ano? hehe.. wag lang pasobra kasi pag dry na lang lagi yung balat, madaling mag-sag at wrinkles.. kaya ako minsan hinahayaan ko na maging oily yung mukha ko pag weekends.. basta make sure to exfoliate lang..
ilan beses ko na rin narinig yung perla. pero its a detergent which i believe should not be used sa face.
at may point ka prince pao, hindi pwedeng masyadong dry. its best to use facial wash lang talaga. tapos mga once a week scrub mo rin.

nitong pagpasok ng January 2009 talagang binalak ko na mag pa facial..

its really not an option lalo na kung hindi ka marunong and wala kang tamang gamit.
inject it with an anti-inflammatory drug as in injection para pasok kagad haha! 6hours lang yan, flat na.
other options, hmm, mas matagal lang nga, pero benzoyl peroxide. mga 1-2 days.
Erythromycin din dry yung feeling mo.. mga 1-2 days din.
basta injection super nakakabilib.. bilis lang at walang scar masyado.
spot treatment lang with top gel medicated cream.. kinabukasan dry na yung pimples at mamamalat.. my favorite part.. hehehe

try niyo yung kojic soap na nabibili sa watsons yung may japan flag, 60php apiece lang kesa yung proactive na may kamahalan hihihi. effective yun sakin, nawala talaga yung pimples ko, at kung magkaron man ako within a day lang at kinabukasan tuyo na pag gumagamit ako neto. dalawang variant yun, yung isa for sensitive skin and yung isa naman pang normal, ang gamit ko yung pangsensitive skin.

im not sure pero mas ok nga yng microdermabrasion rather than peel. mahirap kasi yung mga maxipeel matapang at usually hindi even ang pagpahid kaya nagkakamark (which yung iba sunog na)

oh? katakot naman yan hahahah, siguro iminimize ko muna ang paggamit neto, for face lang siguro kasi sa pimple lang naman ako angkakaproblem, skin tone is ok na. anyways kung gagamit kayo dapat yung pang sensitive skin para mild lang, di naman nagdadry skin ko, basta yung kulay blue na may japan flag wag yung pink kasi matapang yung pink, nasubukan ko and sobrang hapdi pag hinugasan mo :P

di ata recommended magpa power peel kapag gumagamit ng maxipeel or any products na kapareho kasi peel na ginagawa ng maxipeel tapos mag pa-powerpeel pa.. baka lalo pang lumala un prob.

I agree with pao. The active ingredient in pimple-reducing gels is salicylic acid which is also found in garlic. It does its work "by breaking down the protein of dead skin cells"

I tried proactive before. eto yung isa sa unang binili ko after getting my first 13th month pay ( ;D) at pinakamahal kong mabili na acne products noon. but it didn't work for me. later i found out na it best work pala sa mga cystic case of acne due to its active ingredients na benzoyl peroxide at salycylic acid. ang problema ko lang naman sa face ko noon ay excessive oiliness due to large pores, madaming super visible na whiteheads/black heads, at konting maliliit na pimples pero hindi naman cystic. the only miracle product that saved me was a line of glycolic products na nabili ko sa isang facial center which the derma offered me as maintenance when I availed of their diamond peel na promo. my skin drastically imporved mula nung ginamit ko yung product na yun for 6 mos. at sinabayan ko rin diamond peel (3 sessions din kasi promo) para mag closed/lessen yung malalaki kong pores sa mukha. nung naubos ko na, bumalik ako ulit dun sa facial center para bumili pero na phased out na pala nila. ang hassle pa eh kelangan ng doctor's prescription nun. I did an excruciating research and found a reputable derma (member siya ng PDS [Phil. I tried proactive before. eto yung isa sa unang binili ko after getting my first 13th month pay ( ;D) at pinakamahal kong mabili na acne products noon. but it didn't work for me. later i found out na it best work pala sa mga cystic case of acne due to its active ingredients na benzoyl peroxide at salycylic acid. ang problema ko lang naman sa face ko noon ay excessive oiliness due to large pores, madaming super visible na whiteheads/black heads, at konting maliliit na pimples pero hindi naman cystic. the only miracle product that saved me was a line of glycolic products na nabili ko sa isang facial center which the derma offered me as maintenance when I availed of their diamond peel na promo. my skin drastically imporved mula nung ginamit ko yung product na yun for 6 mos. at sinabayan ko rin diamond peel (3 sessions din kasi promo) para mag closed/lessen yung malalaki kong pores sa mukha. nung naubos ko na, bumalik ako ulit dun sa facial center para bumili pero na phased out na pala nila. ang hassle pa eh kelangan ng doctor's prescription nun. I did an excruciating research and found a reputable derma (member siya ng PDS [Phil. Dermatological Society] which is an important consideration/requirement in looking for a derma) who now supplies me of the said glycolic products. she's also doing me glycolic peel and diamond peel every month. kelangan kasi ng maintenance dahil sa work schedule ko na palagi sa gabi. para di na magkakabreakout. :)

try the Master Skin Care Line.. May Oil control Moisturizer sila (gel form).
Kung uneven skin tone meron din silang may Gluta Complex na face cream w/ SPF16 and facial wash, may toner rin.. these 3 belong to the Whitening Plus Range of Master... nasubukan ko na yung facial wash na may Gluta Complex, ayos siya. it controls the oil din lalo na pag nag-apply ka na ng Master Oil Control Moisturizer.. malamig sa mukha tsaka gel type siya kaya ang dali ma-absorb, kontrolado pa ang oil production mo for up to 8hours approximately..
Although papalit-palit ako ng products depende sa mood, I have to say na ayos yung moisturizer nila.. bale yun yung gamit ko sa gabi.. kapag may lakad naman yung sa whitening plus range yung gamit ko kasi may SPF16... waaaaah.. kapagod mag-share.. ang arte-arte ko kasi.. bwahahaha..
pero basically all you need to do is cleanse, tone and moisturize.. yun lang... and choose the products that work best for your skin type. ^_^

Yes, i read the package insert and all the infos with it.
I was simply imparting my experience with the product. I wasn't able to return the product kasi i was contacted by proactive and they encouraged me to continue using the product. Now, what i posted was simply based on an unsatisfied customer's perspective and nothing more. dealing with acne is not easy. It sounded as if i was a simpleton who used the product without even reading the labels or instructions.

-moisturize with Master Facial Moisturizer Whitening Plus
i have known ung CLEANSE-TONE-MOISTURIZE.
pero as of now, wala pa kong nata-try na toner. may alam ba kayo? hehe.
vanity, as it may be considered, is something we should have and we should need - kung ito yung makakapagboost ng confidence mo bakit hinde diba? ;D
i've never really had a bad brush with pimples before, but my problem usually is that my face gets that oily shine that, if you don't take care of it, usually leads to pimples anyway. i've been using L'Oreal Men's Expert Anti-Sebum Facial Foam (Matte)... so far it's been working well for me. gives you that fresh glow pretty much most of the day.

My facial regimen is not actually a "regimen" by the mere fact na soap lang talaga ang ginagamit kong pang maintenance.
I find kojic acid soap effective for me it only cost around 50-65 at regular price.
It's hard to get rid of the dirt and whiteheads even when I was still using those various products lalu na sa nose pero nung ginamit ko yang sabon na yan tanggal agad mararamdaman mo naman...
btw part ng puberty ang pagiging prone sa acne.

hirap niyan... ang solution ko sa eye bags maraming tulog and a facial ice bath (as in ice cubes in water, tapos yun ang ipanghihilamos mo; pwede ding ice / gel mask). truth be told, a good night's rest is the ONLY way to tone them down.
there are cosmetics and cremes that help, but if you don't sleep enough, they don't really get to do the job right. plus, i'm not a big fan of men's cosmetics... facial cleansing and moisturizing, yes... cosmetics... well... no.

Hey.... speaking of eye bags.... nabasa ko dati na may eye roll-on for men and nivea.. I think that was for eye bags at para mabawasan ang dark circle, wrinkles at stress sa eye part.

but you have to start with basic hygiene first. yun naman usually problem with most guys eh. often it's just a matter of scrubbing off the dirt and dead skin cells that tend to clog pores that cause the pimples.
but if basic hygiene doesn't work... then you go to a derma.

Hahaha yun nga eh, it sounds weird no? But in reality if you're skin is oily hindi dapat ginagawang dry kasi may tendency na magproduce ng mas maraming oil therefore maganda pag moisturizer to prevent that from happening.

Usually, kapag nagbibigay ng tretinoin, nagbibigay din ng sunblock (at least spf 30) kasi exfoliating agent itong tretinoin which may cause more skin damage if hindi maprotektahan ang skin.

Dati super dami kong pimples kasi oily face ko. Im not saying na super clear na face ko ngayun but i can see the difference naman na compared dati. What I always do is wash it twice a day (morning/night) and put powder whenever i feel oily. :)

gamit ko glutathione at silka soap pang face lang. Haha pang maintain lang kasi nung uminom ako ng glutathione napansin ko di ako nagkaka pimples. magka pimples man isa o dalawa lang. haha di naman ako pumuputi ng sobra sa gluta, bale yung effect nya lang na no pimples gusto ko :D. yung silka soap may ingredients na salicylic kaya okay din para sa oily at iwas pimples.

you can consult a dermatologist... antibiotics kinda work on severe outbreak of pimples...
I'd say choose your dermatologist carefully... Some of them charge too much for pimples.

When I was a teenager.. I got a breakout of acne.. As in sa sobrang dami ay tinutukso na ako sa school.. So nagpaderma ako..1k lang kasma na ang linis, ineksyon, at gamot. Ayun, nawala.. At ever since hindi na ako binalikan ng tagyawat.
