Finally, dumating din sa Pilipinas ang bagong iPhone! Yipee! Super tagal ko na hinihintay 'to. Thanks, Globe! I'm upgrading from my old iPhone to the new iPhone 3Gs. I've read the reviews and found out na mas mabilis nga 'to than the old model. Mas mahaba rin ang battery life ngayon .The best thing: maraming plans inooffer ang Globe ngayon. More options for me and my gadget-crazy friends haha. link to the site (http://www.globe.com.ph/iphone3g)
Anong bago sa 3Gs na iPhone?
sumasabog. :D

mas mabilis mag respond ang iphone 3GS. "S" means speed ;)
longer battery life na mas gusto ko.
halos konti lang din ang difference sa old 3g ..
may kelangan ka lang install na software sa OLD 3G iPHONE..
pero ayus lang din syempre kung naka 3gs ka naman
as long as you can maximize the features and benefits ng iPHONE...
;D :D ;)

yes ilang reports na ang lumabas na sumasabog. sabi naman sa "internet buzz" ay secrety nag-rerecall ang apple ng iphone3g kasi it cant take too much heat - from long calls or over charging etc..
why is it overrated?
you guys have to understand that iPhone clearly targets a niche market. its not for everyone.. its just that this niche market is composed of first movers. (the same goes for all other apple products)
i agree that apple iphone is too expensive. but the truth is its still the most interesting touch screen phone ever since. but i don't get it why they still cost around 30k, while ipod prices are seriously dropping lately.
re dun sa sumasabog na issue. all lithium ion batteries can explode, if exposed to too much heat. most cases were left inside a car parked in a hot day.
sana mabilihan ko nanay ko ng iphone para may magamit na sila sa probinsiya ;D
:o
apple has been amazing when it comes to the interface of their products. exag lang talaga prices including the accesories.
right now contented na ko sa ipod touch, kahit di ko masyado namamaximize usage neto. music, video, and wifi lang talaga.
i guess i phone 3gs has a lot more to offer. sana lang mas mura na. asa!

nagmura naman ang iphone. its only 199 USD (for 16gb na rin ito). it used to be 499 for the 8gb and 399 for 4gb when it first came out.
its just that GLOBE bought the rights to distribute it here, hence they can command the price being the official distributor of the iphone. other people (meaning cellphone tinagge vendors) sell it at a cheaper price though only a tad lower since naka-peg dun yung price. why will they not take advantage??
kasi nga apple products are catered to the higher income class. its for glamor and status. kaya nga for techie people, it would just be a waste of money since most of its functions can be duplicated and bought for a much lower tag.
$199 - 16GB ; $299 - 32GB bundled price which requires two-year AT&T wireless service contract and is sold separately to qualified customers with good credit background. For unbundled iPhone prices: $499 (8GB), $599 (16GB), or $699 (32GB).

there are unbundled iphones for sale? cool!!!!
and there is the regular iphone 3G for only $99!
bundled service is ok, as you use the minutes and internet - consumable.

agree, interesting siya in terms of applications and mobility, though other phones have this features like internet, email, tons of apps, games, etc, pero like what some said, medyo exclusive siya talaga actually having an iphone makes one look "executive type" pero since nagkaroon ng murang plan ang Globe (plan 399) then cash out ka na lang depending kung 16 GB (http://site.globe.com.ph/web/guest/shop/apple_iphone_3gs_16gb), 32 GB (http://site.globe.com.ph/web/guest/shop/apple_iphone_3gs_32gb) yung chosen plan mo...right now iba na ang trend, even college students may iphone na din, nadadaig tayo, nainggit nga ako sa little bro ko at nakapag-avail ng iphone 3Gs from Globe, medyo malaki kasi kinikita niya sa networking business nila...plan ko mag apply this coming October para by December makuha ko na iphone 3Gs since may queuing pa ata sa Globe ngaun since madami ang nagapply for iphone 3Gs...
ang ganda naman ni techigirl :)
