Some people have faster metabolism than others kaya hindi sila madaling tumaba.
Any suggestions guys?
May kaibigan ako na sobrang bilis ng metabolism. Payat sya talaga pero kahit anong kain nya wala pa rin. ;D
Pero nung isang araw after a few months gulat kami nung nakita namin syang medyo tumaba. Kain tulog daw ginawa nya... ayon, tumaba sya konti pero "payat" pa rin itsura nya.. nagkalaman lang.
yun lang ang mabisang pang weight gain, "buhay baboy" talaga which is damihan mo ang kain at mamayang onti syesta na. tapos yung mga sweets sa gabi mejo increase (pero dangerous din for diabetes) OR yung inaadvertise sa UAAP, yung appeton. ewan lang kung gaano ka-effective at yung price factor din
try siguro orasan yung pagkain...tsaka iwasan ang gf/asawa na sobrang sarap mag-alaga...sigurado tataba ka tlaga...haha
actually, nung naggym ako nag gain ako ng weight. i remember, during my college days ang payat ko talaga. then nagdecide ako maggym during summer, lumaki yung katwan ko talaga. basta ang ginwa ko lng nun gym, then kaen ng mga fud na rich in protein. tapos after several weeks makikita mo na ung resulta. :)

I used to really skinny. I move up sa size ladder ngayon. What I did was lift weight, eat on time, sleep eight full hours, drink water and milk, eat fruits. I gained around 10 lbs na since last year.

maghintay ka na lang pagtanda mo.. paglampas mo ng 30 magkakalaman ka rin.. nagdideteriorate kasi ang metabolism ng tao habang tumatanda. pasalamat ka na lang at payat ka.. di mo problema ang katabaan which is rather more common of a problem these days.

problema ko din 'to. mabilis daw metabolism ko kaya kahit super kain ako, no effect pa rin. tried going to gym for weight gain, in fairness tumaba kahit konti.

Napansin ko lang, if araw-araw ako nag-gi-gym, hindi ako ganun lumalaki - hindi dumadagdag ung timbang unless ang dami ng kinain ko then after 2 hoiurs, baba ulit ung timbang ko.

kung muscles ang gusto mo madagdagan e dapat nga magbuhat ka pa ng magbuhat. Mas madali lumaki ang muscles ng mga payat pero para sa akin lang ha yung payat na may mga musles parang construction worker o kargador ang dating. No offense meant.

BMI mo is 21.26. medically you're in a normal weight range.
if we're talking about a "healthy" range, nasa 140 pounds to 168 pounds yung ideal weight mo.

Tingin ko din payat pa ako kaya I go to gym. And I drink Appeton Weight Gain for my supplement. From 138 lbs to 147 lbs. Gained more than 8 lbs in two months.hehe And I also eat small meals in between major meals. Sandwich, cake, or pastry.lol :)

Acid reflux can be controlled by medications (proton pump inhibitors, H2 blockers, domperidone) and proper diet.
Avoid caffeine, chocolate, spicy foods, fatty foods, milk.
Refain from sleeping or lying down /bench press after meals around 1-2 hours.
Smoking and alcohol worsens reflux.

hi, regarding taking whey protein milk drink....required ba na magwork out sa gym. I'm working here in Dubai and always busy. And the only exercise na nagagawa ko ay maglakad ng mga 800-1000 meters from our house to the metro station before going to workplace....

Usually kaya iniinom ng mga bodybuilders yung whey protein pagkatapos ng workout para may energy yung katawan, maiwasan yung muscle loss dahil sa physical stress, mabigyan ng amino acids para sa muscle growth, at hinde tumaba sa pagkain ng carbohydrates.
May iilan na may misconception na lumalaki agad yung muscle kung iinom ka agad ng whey protein pagkatapos ng weights. Pero, lumalaki lang muscle mo sa pahinga at tulog kung saan tumataas yung Growth Hormone mo.
Mas mahihirapan ka lumaki ng katawan kung hinde ka matutulog (tumataas yung stress hormone) at masyado malakas kumain ng asukal dahil kumokontra to sa Growth Hormone.
Sa totoo lang, kung kakain ka ng karne na walang taba o gatas pagkatapos ng exercise at sabay inom ng multivitamins, pareho lang yun. Kaya lang naging uso yang Whey Protein dahil sa marketing ng mga supplement companies sa Bodybuilding and Health Magazines.
