Choppy Men's Haircut

Heavily-textured to create a choppy, chaotic look in the top and crown sections, this variant of the short-back-and-sides features perimeter hairlines that taper to the scalp and increase rapidly toward the parietal ridge. The longer top section is given choppy layers and directed inward in the styling using a wax-based pomade most likely, in order to give the hair control and malleability. The fringe features some chipping for visual interest, but the overall effect is one of the faux-hawk design.

Princeton Look

Here we see an update on the classic "Collegiate" or "Princeton" look. The shorter back and sides increase in length from the perimeter hairline to the parietal ridge and grow longer still toward the front/fringe area. The fringe is the longest point at approximately four to six inches (10 – 15 cm). The hair is smoothly layered with gentle graduation and the fringe is softened to points with a razor tool. The styling is accomplished using a blow-dryer and brush and a smoothing serum to give a touch of sleekness and smoothness to the finished style.

Shaggy Hairstyle

Super-long bangs and shaggy layers with an angle part and razor texturing all over.

Sexy Hairstyle for Men

Even men get a sexy look from the Reflections team, as this young man shows. His dark brown hair is cut with textured layers and styled in a windblown configuration. The hidden parting and forward swept styling frame the face and create a sexy, intimate look.

Men's Fashion Hairstyle

Who does not like a strong man with a playful side? This is the perfect cut for the prowl. The hair is cropped short and neat around the head with a partition on the side. Comb hair over the top of head to other side. In front the bangs are slightly longer than the rest of the hair and end up in wispy wavy curls that will surely catch attention.

Zack - Gel Spiked Hair

Neo – conservative and still way cool! Zack's hair was evenly layered without short contours so that the contours taper out softly on the sides. Instead of a partition the hair is gel-spiked in front, the sides are combed into the face. The thin, indicated sideburns that reach to the beginning of the ear make a whole new look. It is conservative but much too hip to appear old fashioned!

Very Rocker
Our guy is modeling a deep sable brown haircoloring with the clip closely up the back and around the ears. The length is gathered upon the top with the shorter layers combed back and the large crest is brought up and tilts back every so slightly. Use freezing gel for the crest and a bit of spray where needed.

The Gallery Haircutters, Norwich

Rebecca and Xena explain the look that caught the judges eye and clinched them a place in the Grand Final; "We wanted to create a masculine look and used the Autumn/Winter 09 collection from Belstaff as our inspiration. The look that we created epitomises a modern day action man. His hair is dark with a short undercut and lots of texture."

A mega macho haircut of The Gallery Haircutters swung into plenty of action clipping flexible layers for some areas to be worn sprightly up and others to be molded into the conformity and smoothness that blends in with the edges. The competitors were filled with the rush of adrenalin making the grand finalist.

Kazumi, Dublin

Kazumi took their inspiration from designers like Jean Paul Gaultier and Rag and Bone. Their retro and edgy style really appealed to them.

The windblown hair style on the top of the head was targeted for appeal and grace. The sides are closely clipped around the man's head and going all the way into part of his crown. The rest of the crown is combed forward to construct the huge windblown affect that was artistically styled up.

One Cut - Four Styles

You want to convince your colleagues with a Clark Gable look at the office in the daytime and conquer the dance floor with a Rock-Style in the evening? Then head on over to BUNDY BUNDY! This summer their trend message for the fashionable man is "One Cut – Four Styles". The ultra versatile Perfect-Cut is the basis for many styling options. The fresh, summer lightness is enhanced by a natural coloration.

Surf's Up

Prowling on long summer evenings gets more stylish this season for the tomcats of the beaches. After hitting the waves of the ocean, a little gel or pomade in this short crop puts the motion into the longer hair on the crown of this beau. The hair is directed upward and towards the front, starting at the very short and touchable nape and ending in a spiky swell above the forehead.

Grown Out to Grown UpLong grown out hair for men is so last decade. The new man is stylish, well groomed and has fun playing with textures and colors. The well defined cutting line of the new look brings attention to his distinct features. Short sides and back keep him cool and the long top hair is styled in different directions with spikes on the crown and much finesse in the bangs. The sideburns feature a most delightful touch with a cut in a diagonally striped pattern.
