actually walang facial wash para sa scars. pwede pa yung topical solutions with eventually will make your skin peel.

I'm using glycolic products. It reduces large, visible, and open pores. nakakalighten at smothen din siya ng skin.
Regarding diamond peel, may ibang facial centers at derma na mahal talaga. It could costs as expensive as P3,500.

my derma doesn't do the usual facial cleaning in most facial care centers.
plain chemical peel (TCA or Glycolic) and diamond peel lang. pag  marami lang stubborn papules or comedones saka niya iniextract. maganda kasi ang combination ng chemical peel and diamond peel:
it removes the dead outermost surface of the skin, it removes sun-damaged skin thus lessen the scars and dark spots on the skin, stimulates collagen formation, treats of acne, etc.

I'm using glycolic products...

what kind?

i think he's using the purest form of G.A. na galing sa derma niya.. but you can also get almost the same benefits from OTC product.. just read the label and check if my glycolic acid or alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) sa contents..

the brand is Neostrata and it needs doctor's prescription at pricey nga lang.
it has 20% AHA content, for the face isang set siya (facial wash, toner, and mositurizer), for the body (body wash and lotion).

Maraming OTC glycolic products, to name a few:
SkinTel (which Pao mentioned and mura lang)
Terranex (soap lang siya which you can buy in Mercury)
Mario Badescu ( eto complete ang line which you can buy in Rustans and
                          above 1K ang price range)
VMV Hypoallerginics (yung Illuminants line nila ang may glycolic
                                  ingredients)
Anthony Logistics ( 5% AHA - facial wash ito which you can buy in Beauty
                                Bar, 250ml cost 1,200)

important things to know na may ibat-ibang form ang glycolic products. may cream, lotion, at gel. mas recommended ang glycolic gel for oily skin (eto ang gamit ko).

hope these help!  ;D

hypoallergenic soap and lukewarm water.
