Sang-ayon ka bang magpaplastic surgery, or kelangan natural beauty dapat? Hehehe!

Why modify God's gift? People should be satisfied otherwise they will never be happy.

What's natural is beautiful ,what's artificial is not beautiful hahaha napakasenseless lang :)

By that logic, circumcision must not be done because it is a modification.

If circumcision is done for cosmetic purposes then yes it isn't necessary. If you don't believe in circumcision then don't do it. However circumcision goes a long way from being just a cosmetic procedure unlike the other surgical procedures which is mainly to fulfill someone's vanity.

This is done due to cultural and religious reasons.  To the jews, it is a covenant of blood between God and man that a person belongs to god by blood.  It is an expression of intent to join the jewish society.

To the filipinos, this becomes a ritual of a sense of belonging to the world of men. Kaya nga may tuksuhan. There are many cultural similarities of sorts in different cultures of boys going through a trial by fire or letting of blood or tattooing to prove that they will become men or become part of society.

Well, one is free to go against cultures and society anyway. It is up to a person wether he is willing to take the risk of being ostracized or removed from the society or face ridicule. You are free to challenge that society dictates and good for you if you can change how society dictates.

Hmm okay.

What about those born with deformities? For example cleft lip.

I'm sorry but I do not know about medical conditions. Maybe  some nurses or doctors can help us on the matter? But from what I have read, these children would have a difficulty on breastfeeding.

Children born with cleft lip and cleft palate (birth deformities) have difficulty in feeding, in later part talking, and would predispose them to grave ear infections. Treatment is only by surgery (in a sense, plastic surgery since you would repair what has been naturally given at birth).

I am sure there are a lot more cases of birth defects than we know of, and not all of these hinder one's ability to function in life. Could you say these people should just be happy with what they were born with and not perform plastic surgery?

else, it is vanity which does not promote any good.
