so they just told me na hold on to my cards muna and irereverse na lang nila ung annual fee.
so there, wala ako binayaran. :)

GARA TALAGA NI FRANCIS.....

5 ANG CARD....

HAHAHAHA.......

I have my first credit card just 2 months ago.
Its from BPI, and I did not apply for it (because I always pay in cash)
I used it twice already and paid them even before my statement arrives
I would say I'm a good money manager. :)

di nga nabawasan eh.
ok lang din naman.
i can use them for emergency purposes naman.

lam nyo ba na mas natutuwa ang mga banks sa mga credit card holder na revolvers (those who pay only a portion of their total bill) kesa sa mga transactors(those who pay the total amount due).
a big chunk ng kita ng banks sa credit cards comes from interests sa mga utang na di nababayaran agad.
there was a time noon na di ko nababayaran ang full amount due ko.
i think this is a strategy of banks to encourage credit card holders to use their cards more para mas malaki
macollect nila na interes.

talagang business minded.....

alam mga tricks.....

;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

true.discipline will always be the key in managing almost anything.

if i were you, id have those 2 cards cut despite their incentive to waive the annual fee. If you really do not need it, then dispose of it. time might come that you may want to use it for balance transfer or cash advance - which will even put you more in debt. so, its better to discard them before they become a big temptation. i also used to have 6 credit cards, but gave up 4 of them as they offer the least rewards and they are not necessary anymore (these have been pre-approved)

yes, they would love revolvers, given that you always meet the deadline and the minimum amount due. They earn a lot from these people who do not realize the other fees related to interests (given that they flaunt it at below 1%).

just a tip to credit card holders, take care of your account. this will almost always be one of the things checked when a bank or any financial institution does a credit evaluation on you. If you would notice, applying for postpaid line in telecom providers requires a proof of income. AND one of the proofs that you can show is a credit card statement which has been managed well and all account balances paid (definitely this is less hassle than having a COE or business registration for self-employed people). :)

i have 1 citibank (oldest ko), 2 hSBCs, 1 bdo..

share lng ..

I have 3: Metrobank, BPI, and BDO.
