Vitamin A is essential for growth, development and maintenance of epithelial tissue & for vision.
Vitamin B1 combines in the body with adenosine triphosphate to form thiamine pyrophosphate, which acts as a co-enzyme in the decarboxylation of ketoacids.
Vitamin B2 is required for tissue respiration and indirectly involved in maintaining erythrocyte integrity.
Vitamin B6 is essential for the metabolism of certain aminoacids, carbohydrates and lipids and the synthesis of some neurotransmitters.
Vitamin B12 is required for nucleoprotein and myelin synthesis, cell production, normal growth, and for the maintenance of normal erythropoiesis.
Vitamin E promotes wound healing and inhibits platelet aggregation.
Ascorbic acid is essential for the formation of collagen and intercellular material, it also influences the formation of hemoglobin and erythrocyte maturation.
Calcium D pantothenate is a precursor of coenzyme A and is essential for acetylation reactions.
Nicotinamide is essential for glycogenolysis, tissue respiration and lipid metabolism.
Iron is necessary for haemoglobin formation and for the oxidative processes of living tissues.
