naiintindihan ko si pareng Jude kc nung tinour nya kme at nagtatanong about sa work nya... sobrang pang workaholic

Nsabi ko nga na swerte pa me kc ung stress at dami ng work incomparable sa knya

well compensated naman sila Jude  ;D

haha akala mo lang yun... pero syempre thankful ka na rin anuman ang dumating

dapat hindi. kung ikaw rin yung magpapalugi, then talagang hindi ka masaya at nabibigatan ka sa trabaho. but if its your passion, then salary will not be an issue. (i hope) hehe
Well true contenment and happiness in work plays a factor why one stays but the question is how long will that make you stay because for practical reasons you have also to think of the people who are depending on you

that is true. but never limit yourself. you can always look for better opportunities, if and when you know and feel that you are shortchanged for the services you render. Or looking at it the other way around, you deserve a raise for your dedication.

actually magandang topic yun dito sa forum... HOW MUCH DID YOUR LOYALTY COST?
sometimes, it pays off to wait and stick it out with the company or whatever you are in. but there are always opportunity costs related. Has it paid off, or it is really better to leave?

yap loyalty pays off...God has a way of rewarding those who wait upon Him

Kinda true. Kahit mababa sahod peru super happy at friendly ang mga sub ordinates... the more you stay longer in service.  :D

we are working dahil sa money di ba? or working as passion?  ;D

hmmm para sakin...

I don't try to find joy or happiness sa work. That's why it's called work e. You find those things somewhere else.Ewan ko ba... feeling ko pinalaki ako sa ibang school of thought XD

yung mga naiinlove sa work iyon yung mga tao gusto umakyat sa corporate ladder until maging boss na sila

Of course not. Sometimes you love your work because it is your passion. Actually the ideal case would be you have a high-paying work that is your passion.

I also observed na they remained single as they climb the corporate ladder.. I feel sad about them..

Kahit weekend pumapasok. Yung iba nga kahit may sakit ayaw pa umabsent  :D wala ng social life kasi naconsume na ng work.

not true. what if you are a public school teacher? wala bang talent yun, AT not necessarily hindi rin nila kaya mag-artista or maglaro ng sports. kaya nga may mga nadi-discover....

people have different reasons but one thing we can learn is that we only have one life. we control how we want it lived. if we want to strive, then hardwork and perseverance kailangan. consequently, nawawala ang oras para sa "sarili"; But if you are satisfied or mas nakukuha mo yung work-life balance (so-called) then you can allot time to attend to a relationship, a hobby/interest or whatever fancies you.
