I first wrote about LUMOS projectors back in 2022 where I spoke about them for the first time.
Today, we talk about one of their latest projectors, the LUMOS FLOAT, which comes with an innovative and easy-to-use design.
You see, one of the challenges of using classic projectors as part of your home theater is having to deal with a heavy, mostly stationary and hard-to-setup and move device. With the LUMOS FLOAT, those problems are gone in an instant because this projector makes configuring your home theater easier than ever.
Here’s are 5 reasons why I love the LUMOS FLOAT and why I think you should get one too:
1. Innovative, 360° rotating projector
The LUMOS FLOAT is the first 360° rotatable projector. You can put it on a table, on top of a shelf and hang it on the wall. Regardless of where you put it, it can easily be rotated to project perfectly to any flat wall. You can even project it to your ceiling so that you can enjoy your favorite shows and movies while lying in bed.
What I also love about this 360° rotating capability is that it automatically adjusts the keystone depending on the position or tilt of the projector. It’s amazing!

Part of the reasons why you would also want the LUMOS FLOAT is how small, how lightweight and how portable it is.
It’s easy to carry and move around wherever you want to watch.
And one thing I also found interesting about the LUMOS FLOAT is its ease of use. Most projectors have a mechanical focus ring, but the LUMOS FLOAT has its own electronic focus ring which can be triggered by the remote control. No need to stand up and step on a chair to adjust the sharpness and focus of the projector by hand. Just press the focus buttons on your remote control while you are seated and you can easily adjust the focus and sharpness according to your preference. Awesome, isn’t it?
