Pierre Cardin: Watch of the Moment

As a guy, you would empathize with me that I am totally clueless when it comes to brand names. Seriously – I just don’t care. I mean when I buy stuff like watches I usually buy it if I see it work. Brand is not really a big thing to me.

Well anyway recently I have been pondering about buying a new watch since my old one is quite malfunctioning. So I headed up to the mall to look for one. I was thinking of buying the very common ones – say either Timex, Fossil or the one from Bench Time (told you I’m clueless about brands). So anyway I happened to pass by a watch store and found this beautiful watch spark before my eyes – Pierre Cardin!

I was like WOW – I never knew I would easily see my type of watch in just 13.5 minutes hopping inside the mall. hahaha. I bought it right there and then. It’s really good. What I like about it is the shape of the watch. It’s somewhat shaped like a square which is today’s trend. By the way don’t ever buy rounded-shaped watches – it’s totally outdated.

Anyhow, do you still remember my post about this watch? Well, I opted to buy a watch with a steel bracelet rather than a leather one because I am usually in the office and this suits my lifestyle. Plus I reserve this watch probably on my next paycheck. haha. I bought Pierre Cardin first since I instantly liked it better – It is formal, sophisticated and very expensive looking – ideal for a young professional like me.

And the box – it’s as elegant as the watch itself…

As a matter of fact, I liked the box so much that I even wanted to carry it to the office with the watch inside. (hahaha.. okay i’m kidding alright? I’m not that stupid….)

So anyway I know that there is one big question mark in your head. How much?

Well any wild guess? It’s 3,300 Pesos. It’s relatively inexpensive compared to other ones available. For me it’s worth replacing my old watch with this one.

  • Chris,

I’ll look for this watch here in ILOILO CITY! I am a watch person kasi. If we guys need to accessorize, the watch is a dude’s best friend. Yan lang ang pwede natin magamit which is acceptable to the most decerning fashion people…
