Weider PowerSwitch 100 dumbbells

Some guys just don’t like the atmosphere and ambiance inside the gym. Depending on the gym that you go to, there are some people there who would tend to measure you up and if you are the kind of guy who hates that, then you better check this out.

weider powerswitch 100 dumbell

Meet the Weider Powerswitch 100. A complete set of dumbbells with plates of up to 100 lbs and comes with a stand. So if you have enough money to shell out and you’re just not too comfortable working out at the gym with strangers, this one is for you.

So where did I see this? I found this in CHRIS Sports in SM (disclaimer: I don’t own that store) while I was looking for a birthday gift for my brother a few weeks ago. Before you decide to buy this equipment, I suggest you first look for online reviews because like any other product, I’ve seen both positive and negative reviews. There were praises saying that it is an excellent product and there were also comments saying that it is not safe for beginners. Maybe you should try it for yourself and see if it is suitable for you.

  • wow! nice na post master Chris.. i really want to work-out but very ashamed of going to gym..so i decided to bring the gym at home..hehehe

  • Same here bugITs, what I did I started doing less exercise every morning and before going to bed at home. I also discipline myself from tuning down my food intake and it really works.

  • Weider and Bowflex lies on the same lines with Bose audio system…

Am I reading it right P20K for a 100lb dumbbell??!! I’d rather spend it with a locally made power rack, olympic sized bar, bench and 200-300lb plates. You can do all the necessary compound exercises with this set-up rather than a pair of dumbbells.

  • hiei – that’s correct. 20K, it’s indeed pricey so one should think twice and be sure before buying it.

  • I use these for P90X and, as others have said, the only drawback is the length which makes it a little awkward for the exercises where the weights are close to your body. Other than that, they work great. They take up very little space and are quickly and easily adjusted. I’m very happy with them.
